Well, just minutes ago, I baked a breaded haddock meal with some baked potato cubes, spiced up. I also had the joy of some fresh Brussell's sprouts which I cut in half, carmelized the inners with butter on a hot skillet, then finished them baking in the oven along with everything else.

It was a fabulous, simple meal for all of us.

It's pretty cold out there so using the oven for evening meal is a no brainer.

Bought a couple of pounds of prepared "Turkish meat" (smoked lamb and beef loaf cut from a huge cylinder) and had gyros for an early dinner. A bunch of their sauce as well.
They make The Best Sauce!

We cut our own veggie fillings. I like cucumber with mine. 
But these guys make these awesome thick sliced potato slabs, cooked over open fire next to the meat. One style is darker and hotlike, they call Black Sea while the other style is buried in paprika, cooked more sparingly and not as spicy called Mediterranean.
Had to have some of both of those as well!

I came in after a couple of hours struggling/painting my second H frame dipole subwoofer, latest garage project thingy, only to find that my treasured wife had made a butter pecan cake with cream cheese icing.

Some cilantro sprouts added to my stir fry.

I have begun to plant little pots of greens and herbs to keep near the doors. I over plant them rather harshly. Way too many plants in one container.

So, as I thin them down to a more tolerable level of overcrowding, I add the super flavor intense sprouts to what ever I am cooking.

I kind of want to get into growing sprouts again, now. Back in the '80s I had several jars at different ages with fresh sprouts of all sorts coming along.

Yakisoba Noodles I usually get at Walmart.

It's one of my many safe foods that isn't "eh" on my diet... so I'm happy

I love Crispix, all types.
Noticed while making coffee yesterday, my son had just finished them and the box was in the garbage can. That's what I was going to have with my coffee.
