A small (50ml I think, maybe 100ml) 3-neck round bottom flask with a rather valuable compound inside, and a beaker containing the same compound in a better condition of purity, both could benefit from being recrystallized from isopropanol, the stuff in the 3-neck RBF without a doubt MUST be recrystallized and cleaned up, whilst the same stuff in the beaker will just benefit a good whack from the recrystallization.

Christmas lights...a 30 gallon tote full...many brand new sets of LED's still in the boxes. All working. SO lost all his for the bar when the basement flooded this spring...he was just bitching about how many lights he needed to buy...scratch that off the shopping list now.

Another bin with some random decor, a very nice storage bin with a seen-better-days tree inside. Made tree shorter, stuck it in a huge pot and decorated it with some random decor for the porch. Cleaned out the bin to store my tree and decorations in under the steps.

A couple of years ago, Kayleigh hung white Christmas lights in her room. It looked really cool. Until her rats got to them. Now there's no rats and so I'm encouraging Kayleigh to get more lights.

Not found, but lost. My G-Shock watch. I took it off in the toilets at college and put it on the sink bench when I went to wash my hands. Done this plenty of times so don't understand why I left it there. Was back in the computer lab for 5 minutes when I realised. Raced back to get it and it was gone. I wonder who took it, whether or not they needed a watch. If they're ok with it being 4-6 minutes fast and beeping 20 times at 9pm every night.

Check the sink tomorrow, they might bring it back.

I'm not sure I interpreted this the way it was meant... :o
People just like to think they can know who the monsters are, but they can't.

Why do I now have a mental picture of a christmas tree with a charred, smoking rat perched on the top like an angel that had just crawled out of a sewer and topped itself...(in more ways than one)

Or rat baubles. Smoking, greasy smelling, occasionally electrically arcing rat baubles coupled with the smell of really quite suspiciously cheap chinese food.....Or for a really brief, but spectacular display, couple it with new years fireworks, by using not a domestic power supply but a marx generator capacitor bank and baited copper bus-bars. xmas tree rodent-plasma roman candle.

Come to think of it..would santa's suit provide much insulation, I wonder.....two strips of metal, one on either side of the internal surface of the  chimney and a pressure-pad switch at the bottom. Ho Ho bbzzztrrrrakkkkHnngshplorsh! lets see what he left parked on the roof. And who's for venison this year instead of turkey?'

At least people would start taking down the trees in a timely manner, as the flambee'ed rats begin to start stinking.

Nah, her rats died pretty much of things related to old age. Can tell I didn't give much thought to how I was writing!

A VACUUM!

Not just ANY vacuum either!
An absolutely filthy, dusty, Kirby Dual Sanitronic 50 from 1967.

I hit the attic trifecta on the house I was working on   :2thumbsup:
1.   Porn: a Penthouse Magazine from the early 80's
2.   Drug paraphernalia: a roach clip
3.   Liquor bottles

'People who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those who are doing it.'
