Yeah.  I'm coming to the realization that I may have to count my food as medicine also if I'm to handle my diabetes better.  And take my medicine-food the way it should be taken.   :(

Yes.  Not 2 minutes after I took the meds, I got a call from the gerontologist who told me I should only be testing my diabetes once a day in the a.m.  That's a lot less pressure on me and my perfectionism.
