Welcome to the madhouse. :)

Thank you for the welcome, and also for the explanation! Was puzzled by his question.

would you agree that you are probably better than all the non US citizens that post here simply because you are american?

I'm in the Northeast...

And no, I would not agree that I am better than the non-Americans. Why do you ask?  ???
the indoctrination of your school life of course.

weren't you taught to be tolerant yet know that you are better?

Not that I recall...but then again, I was remarkably inattentive in school!  :P

Do you have a dx?

ADD at age 37, "very high functioning Asperger's" at 40. Taking Strattera for the ADD, not entirely sure the aspie dx was right though. I got it from an aspie psychologist who delayed the final report for weeks because he thought I might actually be socially phobic (I'm not) or schizoid (that is probably closest to the truth).

Does the Strattera help you?

Definitely...my reaction time (especially in conversation) is shorter; I am better able to keep track of time and stay on task too. It also has lessened my OCD, a fortunate side effect for some users. Of course, what works for me will not necessarily work for everyone.  :(
