Both my dogs went today to a new vet that works with big dogs. Glad I found him the rest were all terrified of Yoyo and wanted him tranquilize him for the simplest thing this guy was great.  It even worth the $500 just knowing he stuck his finger up Yoyos ass   Are vets this expensive everywhere. It was two dogs blood work prostate exam and shots

The cost of providing medical care to animals is probably not a whole lot different from the cost of providing it to humans. However, health care expenditure for people tends to be more hidden from the consumer, especially in places where there are socialised medicine, government subsidy and/or private insurance schemes.
