Until recently you could even have sex with a girl under the age of 15, if she agreed to it. They couldn't prosecute you for it. They changed the law only last year. You still most likely go free if you have sex with a 13 or 14 year old with her consent. You will be tried but probably freed.

The age of consent here is 16. To be honest, I can't see the appeal of jailbait at all - as far as I'm concerned young teenage girls haven't done cooking yet, mentally at least. Why would you want to fuck someone as annoying as most teenage girls are? ???

Also the idea of grown men hanging around secondary schools trying to pick up teenage girls is seriously icky, even if it is legal at 16.

Most states seem to have 16 as consent age. Some states even have 14, that used to be the consent age in many European countries 100 years ago or so. In the Viking age it was perfectly OK to marry a 10 year old. It still is in many Third World countries...

You have to remember that not everyone is 30.  For me, a 22 year old, an 18 year old is perfectly eligible, if perhaps not my preference, and although a 16 year old is stretching it a bit, and generally 16 year olds aren't very attractive to me any more (they were better when I was 16 myself), I'm hardly old enough to be their father.

Thanks Peter.  I saw DirtDawg's links.  I just read an article in my local newspaper about a 14 year old girl meeting a 22 year old sexual predator on the internet and then he suggested meeting in person and she agreed.  He was a registered sexual offender on probation for similar offences.

Edit:  I forgot to say that he was arrested for violating his probation again, since a condition of his probation was no contact with underaged females.

I'm nearly 24, I am uncomfortable being attracted to any females younger than me, especially if they are 16-18 years old. On top of that I have a feeling an older woman (around 25-35) would be more preferrable for me for various reasons.
