I'm really sensitive to cannabis; low to moderate doses of it leave me unable to speak coherently, mess up my coordination, give me shakes and closed-eye visuals consisting of bright, shifting colours and do something to my sense of balance that makes me feel like I'm on a roller coaster.  It's also done other weird things to me on occasion; one time it turned my skin into one big erogenous zone and gave me a pre-orgasm sensation wherever I touched myself, though I was with a group of people at the time, and thus didn't fully explore the possibilities.  I find cannabis too intense and incapacitating to use regularly, but it's interesting to take on rare occasions.

Opium--tried it twice, didn't notice any effect
Mushrooms--dosed in a stranger's house @ a party, didn't know most people there, spent 3-4 hrs under a bed trying v. hard not to shriek
LSD--never
Imipramine--teens and 20s
Ativan, Xanax, Prozac--30's and 40s
BEER

The drugs DO work; you just have to find the right dose. : P

With that extreme reaction to pot/hash its probably better that you didn't try smoking angeldust. That stuff gets you really fucked up for about 90 minutes.

What's the deal with codeine? Do people get a high off of it? I've never heard of that before. You can buy huge bottles of a few hundred pills with no prescription.

I hate what Codeine does for me. Fucks with my heartbeat and I get extremely dizzy. With no fun effects at all, except that it is a good painkiller indeed.

Prescription drug here, btw, if it is part of a painkiller. In some coughing tinctures you can get it over the counter.
