no but i did make an ass out of myself on monday when two guys matching the description pulled up in the bar parking lot and sat there next to my car for 3 hours.

i kinda freaked out a little, and told the bartender, now she thinks im schitzo. of course right after i told her, they drove off.

Not really.  It's not like you, out of the blue, thought shop mannequins were government spies or anything like that.  A friend of yours was beaten up for no reason, you had every right to be worried.  If they have any issues with that, especially to the point of not giving you a job then as I said, screw them.
