It goes down well if one is in the right frame of mind. The ep about Spongebob's driving lessons, for example, seemed uproariously funny when I first watched it; I am not tempted, however, to obtain any boxed sets of DVDs, nor to purchase any of the other merchandising tie-ins.

Or, as my 13-year-old puts it, "It's just so random." :)
The randomness is too much for my brain. A few minutes into the show and I have no idea what is going on.

I have a DVD of the Spongebob movie that my daughter can watch during her long ride to school.

I like that one, too.

I gave my daughter a big cardboard box so she could "use her imaginataaaaaation" too.

Spongebob is a really entertaining show. I liked the episode where they got lost in the sea anemones. They started worshipping a giant magical conch. It was hillarious.
