Violence can solve a lot of things.
Not necessarily the best way all the time, but it's annoying when people say violence never solves anything

All it does is relieve frustration in a (mostly) destructive way.

Well I had a more than strict stepfather and I grew up hating people who think that violence is the way forward.

Nick shouldn't forget who he was since making peace with your past self is the only way people can mature.  He needs to change but understand the reason why he's changing and still keep a part of his old self as well.  The past is not necessarily a bad thing really.

He does not need to be a copy of you Rage  ;)

I'm definetely not trying to make him a copy of me. I'm trying to make him responsible for his own actions. I'm trying to teach him how to be productive and motivated.

At the moment, he's a 24 year old child. He's never had a man to look up to, wrestle around with, and to smack him around a little when he fucks up. He really needs it.

I'm still not entirely convinced but I guess you know him more than I do.

Nick. I have just about had it with this kind of shit. I introduced you to this website in hopes that maybe you would gain some charisma from the banter.

Give me one good reason now why I should not give you a serious beatdown.

No. Because he made a mistake, and wouldn't admit it. A REAL man can admit when he fucks up.

Violence doesn't solve anything.  It certainly won't make him understand what he's doing wrong.

Violence solves the problem of lack of violence.
