^Reminds me, that maybe I should get some stim-toys so I am not so self destructive.

What kinds of sensory treat do you need?

I have stuff to fidget with in the pockets of my coats.
I can do upside down chocolate moo things!

I think parts has things like that too. :)

I think I need small things that can be taken apart and put back together. Maybe. Something I can see that will also keep my hands busy. Feeling but not seeing, as in something in the pocket only, will not stop me from being self destructive I don't think.

Maybe you could make something little out of Lego and keep it somewhere you can play with it when you need to.

My stim-toy is my HAIR, which means I am always dealing with tangles!   :asthing:

Hey yeah. Hadn't thought of Lego. I don't actually own any but I can buy some as a Christmas present to myself. :) That is a cool idea, thanks!

As for hair, my mum has pointed out to me that when I get a bit stressed I tend to pull at mine a bit. Not pull it out, but pull on it at the side of my face. I had not noticed before but apparently it is a giveaway as to how I am feeling. :P

I'm 45, but I suppose I'm still "really little," being only 5'2"!  :bonnet:

What it will be like to have an uncluttered house and life.  Probably awesome.

I think so too.  Imagine relaxing at night in a clean living room!   :nicegear:

I don't think I've ever had a drop-in visitor.  But we should be able to move further along in getting the PR some personal assistance and respite for me.

I avoid that scenario at all costs!  But pretty soon you won't have to anymore.
