I just realised that I'm 26 and not 25.  I'm usually terrible at remembering numbers, but this is the first time that I've lost track of my age.

I usually start thinking of myself as being my new age about 6 months before my birthday, just to get used to the idea. :laugh:

I usually start thinking of myself as being my new age about 6 months before my birthday, just to get used to the idea. :laugh:

I often feel a bit uneasy about my age, and my self-perception of my age usually doesn't match up very well to the chronological reality.  Parts of me have been very mature since I was a child, but other parts of me seem to have remained at an early developmental stage.  I'm hoping that it's an indication that my brain will retain the flexibility of youth for many years to come.
