How To Block Private Messages

(1/1)

Callaway:
One may wonder why anyone would want to block another member's private messages.

There is at least one member who has been harassing and threatening other members by PM.

There is at least one member who does not understand that no means no, who continues to stalk and harass other members after they have asked him to stop.

While INTENSITY² is a forum for free speech, the administration of INTENSITY² does not condone harassing, threatening or abusive private messages or emails between members.

Here is how to block all private messages from a particular INTENSITY² user:

Click on your PROFILE icon.

Click on Personal Message Options on the left side of the screen in the middle set of boxes, the last one under Modify Profile.

Enter the log in username of the member whose Private Messages you want to ignore, using the Find Members icon, if needed.

Then click on Change Profile and it is done.

If you need help with this, please let one of us know and we will help you.

If you are being harassed, threatened or abused by Private Message or email and you prefer to involve the administration, please let one of us know and include a copy of the threatening PM or email, if possible, so we can help you deal with it.

Callaway:
I think now is a good time to make sure that members know how to block PMs.
