Fuck the record industry!!!

The greed of these evil parasites knows no boundaries!!

They've sued AND won a judgement against a single mother for $1.5 million, an ammount she can't begin to pay.

From Wikipedia:

Jammie Thomas (born 1977), now Jammie Thomas-Rasset, is a Native American mother of four from Brainerd, Minnesota, and works as a natural resources coordinator for the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Indians.

The RIAA initially sent Thomas a cease-and-desist letter and settlement offer in August 2005.[4] Thomas refused to settle, and was then sued on April 19, 2006, by several major record labels for copyright infringement, by unauthorized downloading and sharing of 24 sound recordings on Kazaa, under the user name of "TEREASTARR@KaZaA". The date of the alleged infringement was February 21, 2005. The recordings included songs by such bands as Aerosmith, Green Day, and Guns N' Roses.[5][6] Rather than seeking actual damages, the plaintiffs sought relief via statutory damages, assessed in accordance with 17 USC 92 § 504(c)(2).

She had a chance to settle, but refused.  Seems to me that she wasn't being very sensible.  I wonder where she found the money for 4 trials.

She should have used Limewire or Frostwire.

As far as I'm concerned, if it's been released to the public via CD or record, it's fair game. Fuck the warnings.

I think a lot of artists are actually releasing stuff online to screw those bastards because they aren't getting anything out of it anyway, and if they do release CDs, they go to Indi labels.

The songwriters and artists get fuck all out of these cases, and everyone should know it.

Shock and Awe.  The RIAA know that they can't go after everyone so they sue random people a ridiculous amount of money to scare people into not downloading,

If anything it would achieve the exact opposite I think. It'll piss people off so much because this big corporation is beating on the little guy, and piracy will grow as a result.

Existence actually has two broad meanings despite its apparent meaningless. The constant reconciliation of all its parts, and the conservation of any closed system as a whole.

Morality can be extrapolated from these meanings to make these two commandments of godless morality: 1). Be in harmony with one another and 2). Care for the environment.

That's the perfect reason to throw all their cases out. Inconsistency. How can they mount a challenge on illegal downloading if they aren't going to go after everyone? Makes no sense, and as Judge Judy says, if it doesn't make sense, it isn't true.

Therefore, the RIAA are a load of fucking bandits.
