Scrap: there was a big furore in Australia when that was exhibited in the Melbourne Arts Centre. All sorts of religious nuts were going ape over it. Anyone else said 'Meh!'

I remember that! I am not a religious nut, but I did feel a few stirrings of disquiet :-\ when I heard about it. Can't help it. Roman Catholic and all that 8). I would have felt the same about any religious monument no matter the denomination. There is just something about sputum and urine that is particularly crass.

Yes. You wouln't have wanted to sit through the scene in Stork where he did the chunder-pieces. That was gross indeed.

My parents, being Pentacostitesticles (or whatever) didn't like 'Life of brian' and said that was blasphemy. It may well have been, but you can't knock back a good piss-take.
