You're right.  You are probably right a lot of the time, but you were wrong this time.

I know of people who aren't even autistic who can't function properly in the mornings without their caffeine fix.
Yeah, Pandora is one. She isn't a morning person at the best of times and stumbles around half-asleep until she has her first coffee of the day. I don't see the harm in having 3 or 4 coffees or teas a day. She says if she has to miss even one day of caffeine, she starts to get horrible headaches and I don't want to see her suffer.

My husband doesn't drink coffee, but he still has to have a caffeine fix in the mornings.  He drinks Coke, even for breakfast.

There have been some times he tries to cut it out or at least cut down on the number of Cokes he drinks.

If he stops cold turkey, then he gets migraine type headaches for the first few days.

I was at work and I see a guest come in the service area and he asks the room attendant for regular coffee. He says he needed it for morning because it wakes him up and he doesn't want decaf. I make a comment about decaf not having caffeine and he said "I don't understand why people would want decaf" and I said "because some people don't like being drugged" and he said "Well I'd rather be drugged because it wakes me up and keeps me moving."

I had no clue people get addicted to caffiene. I knew it was a drug but I didn't know you get addicted to it and you have to have it or your body acts weird. I knew it wakes you up and it can make you hyper.

Takes about 2 weeks for the migraines  to go away and then everything is okay. Unless you start the whole thing up again. Also even changing brands of coffee/tea can do it, well for me anyway.

It does take you a while to get used to not having something. I have met a few people who smoked and they said it was very hard when they quit. They just stopped buying cigarettes one day and they were shakey for a while.
