Ugh...one of my worst fears is attempting suicide and failing.  It can lead to all kinds of unpleasantness - like that kid who shot himself for Judas Priest.

I know someone who tried to commit suicide by shooting himself in the head.  He's not sure if his hand was shaking or he had a change of heart, but he woke up in the hospital with the bottom right side of his face gone.  He is quite frightening and has to wear a bib to handle the drooling problem.  He still has the problem he tried to kill himself over.
