I beat GTA4 for 360 and it was pretty fun.   I liked the weapons and vehicles that they had in past installments better.   They left a lot of shit out of GTA4 and made it available in downloadable content, which is bullshit.   The missions are usually somewhat frustrating due to the rather limited control scheme (which is better in 4 than the PS2 GTA3 games).    I usually just put the game in to run around and murder people.

ive almost completed the storyline missions, but with a lot of frustration.

the storyline itself IS good enough and all, but goddamn how hectic. im not made for it.

like LJ's FIRST private job, bringing some drugs 2 streets down, it took me like 10 frustrated attempts...

right now im totally stuck on one of the final warehouses w russians in it. got to the entrance, and the dude im supposed to protect dies, dies, dies and dies again.
last time i re-tried, we got to the speed boats, and he died...

I have beaten GTA IV for Xbox 360 more than a year ago. The most difficult part is realizing that most (if not all) of the missions involve either shooting up peeps, chasing another peep in a car, or both. There's simply no variety to speak of, and the side missions are a bunch of crap. Shooting darts? Bowling? Watch "TV"? Where's the taxi, vigilante, and ambulance side-missions? I think apart from the driving and shooting, GTA IV is devoid of all of the fun things that made up the GTA series.

Rockstar Games, I don't give a damn scripted relationships. I don't give a damn about your parodies of TV and the Internet. I don't give a damn about how supposedly "alive" Liberty City is. You want to know why? Because in the end, it's not actually very interactive at all. I want more of what makes a game a fucking game and not a fucking movie!

But the blood spattering on the hood of your car when you run over a pedestrian was a nice touch. And the physics are a lot better than in the older games. But GTA IV could have been so much more if Rockstar didn't have their heads up their asses about so-called "realism".

And I'm not about to go back to glitchy, ugly, old San Andreas. I'll be looking forward to Saint's Row 3, the REAL future of the GTA series.

Oh, and San Andreas and IV were quite easy for me, even though I suck at most video games.

You don't have to be a hardcore gamer to beat GTA IV withOUT cheatcodes. If you think GTA IV is too hard, then you shouldn't be playing video games in the first place, retard.

I don't waste my time with that anyway. I can at least play a musical instrument, which I guess you still can't. Unless you want to count a butt-trumpet.

And if you want to talk video games, try Shadowman 2econd Coming, which I've beaten at least 10 times, and have the game completed in under 5.5 hours.

I like the Rockband games. I have The Beatles Rockband with Ringo's drums, Mic and Paul's Bass replica, I also bought another RB2 Fender and have RB1, AC/DC addon and LEGO RB. I can't do better than normal difficulty but I just play them because they are fun as hell. Same with GTA4.

i like to drive around and periodically get out of the car and rob and kill people, or drive around and pick up hookers. The missions do sometimes suck and I hate having to do stuff. 3 will always be the best, but san andreas is also good ( I like all the little side missions) and beating someone to death with flowers is always fun. It's cute how the girlfriends like to do drive by's on your dates. And I make a lot of money gambling too. What are missions ? :d

Oh, and I am dangerous  I like to try and carjack cops. It's almost impossible but when you get away with it it feels sooooo good

GTA3, Vice City, and San Andreas were fun, but GTA4 sucked balls. I've been playing Saint's Row 2 and Just Cause 2.

i sometimes "do a nokas", where i hang around w my AK, waiting for a cop car. then i take a calm and steady aim, and start to slam single rounds into their front window :]
of course, the hell that breaks loose totally beats that of what we had in stavanger - which is why they should make a GTA representing a tiny norwegian town, with a completely undermanned police force
