Confidence is my middle name :zoinks:

Actually I hit the wrong color
:duh: :duh: :duh:

You shouldn't have let on! You would have become legendary as Pink Parts!  :viking:

I don't know if you realise, or if it's the same joke over there, but in Australia a crass slang term for genitals is "Pink Bits"

Yeah, I've heard "pink parts" at least once in a movie here in the States, so I kind of knew I was double-entendre-ing,
and I did it anyway! It was irresistible! I2 is corrupting me!

I'm in college, working my way up for a degree in Astronomy.

Meant to ask you: what are you planning to specialise in, within astronomy?

So far it looks like either radio or observational astronomy. Each one has its pros and cons, but at least with radio astronomy you can have a normal sleep schedule since it can be done during the day. Also, stars tend to be a lot more interesting in wavelengths other than the visible light spectrum.

Agreed. I did a lot of VLBI on quasars while studying astronomy which was fun, but OTOH, it's a pain to get that kind of antenna time and if you do it for a living, you'll end up in Chile and most likely on grants.

Good luck, whatever you decide to do.
