Since site security and the integrity of my server are my responsibilty, I made a judgement call to permanently remove him from the site, and I won't be reconsidering it. Or even discussing it. What exactly happened?
Ahayes got banned by Dunc for, among other things, signing up a bunch of members' emails to spam lists.
Which threatened to crash Dunc's computer, threatening the site....lets not forget that.

I'm a computer idiot, but, the best that I can make out is that the flood of spam emails and such was creating havoc for him. Dunc is still pretty steamed at him for also sending threatening pm's to PI after she objected to some stuff that he posted. Plus he was still sending threatening emails after he got banned by Dunc, which certainly didn't help his case any.
The person you need to ask for details is Dunc, and he's pretty sick and tired of the whole issue. Consider that I am saying this all second hand. There is an explanation by Dunc somewhere in the management forum.

My post came AFTER odeon's repeated statements which
tended to indicate that ONLY posting the e-mail address was
done, but before soph found some other indications. I'm still
awaiting whenever dunc gets around to feeling that the members
deserve an answer which makes sense. The one given makes none,
as I would interpret it.
Fortunately, this issue does not hinge on your interpretation, since you have a habit of being deliberately dense when you don't want to understand what someone says.
Dunc has to have the ability to act in the interest of site security, he did so, and I believe that he made the correct decision.
If you sincerely believe that Ahayes' rights were trampled here when he was banned, I would suggest that you get Aspie Chaos up and running as quickly as possible and make Ahayes an administrator there with equal "powers" to yourself.

Sure, there are two grumpy old men running around here, who happen to be old enough to have grandfathered more than three fourths of the membership and who also happen to have enough substance in their own lives to consider a place like this to be more of an escape from "substance" at least to some degree, and about half a dozen middle agers, including yourself, but most if not ALL the rest here are very young (most of whom I like a lot).

I've expressed them a number of times. I like her, but always feel
that she needs to see this. Most who've told her end up pissing her
off, and getting into recriminations - all of which turn ugly. I DON'T
want that to happen, but I always feel that someone needs to
grab her by the ears, shake her, and show her what she seems.
That, and (because Callaway is always right) I gain enough energy to
try these things, in my general lashing out at everything, when I am

Thinking about starting a new site so that the powers
that be can have their free reign here. Would truly be
experimental. Couldn't manage to allow the porn (at least
at first - probably a free host, to test the waters), but I'm
curious about how many would think that this is an interesting
idea.
