it seems a good idea to point out

cause theres no L sound in the japanese language, except Lo, but that should debatably be ro too.
in japanese-english textbooks the R letters are ra, ri, ru, re, lo. but it should be ro, IMO
real jaapnese people have a hard time pronouncing L's. its actually a good way to tell if someone is japanese or other asian, cause koreans and chinese dont have this problem.
my girlfriend in highschool liked black flag, the punk band. she would say rets risten to some brack frag. it was pretty cute.
so since there is no L sound in the japanese language, and his user is from an anime style video game, which is obviously japanese. it should be soreiyu, not soleiyu. i think its suposed to be soleii(french for sun) translated to katakana alphabet, ie so-re-i-yu. but someone fucked it up along the way from japanese creator and european/american video game.
if it is in fact suposed to mean soleii, then it should be spelled soreii, as in so-re-i-i. but who knows what it really is supposed to mean as the character is only seen in the euro/american version or the game, and was not in any japanese versions as far as i know. (i asked a japanese friend about it and she said she had the american version in japan as a kid) so who knows
regardless, of meaning or origin, it is clearly a japanese name or at least a japanese pronunciation of a french word. in either case it should not have an L in it but an R instead, cause there is no L sound in japanese, even if it is a forign word that had an L in it. like e-re-va-ta / elevator
moral of the story, if you want to be japanese, you prolly shouldnt use a username that is clearly englisheese bastardization/misspelling. cause japanese ppl will look at you like youre an idiot. (which in this case wouldnt be far off)

That QM's retirement caused the place to go to hell and that the only way to save it was to replace him with someone else who is strict (as he doesn't feel Sallamandrina and I fit the bill). He states that the WP TOS is his "special interest" and as such we should give him the job.
He believes that the parakeet incident would not have occurred under QM's watch as the "trolls" would have been trembling in fear. Les should have a select comment on this assertion ;)

The mods don't get paid, and people on WP who ask for the job are never given it because of the fear that they would be too enamoured with the "power" of being a mod. Some people actually get off on having the ability to delete posts and/or ban people they don't agree with and apparently it's PM's wet dream to be more like his hero, the "strict mod" Quatermass.

At first I only wanted to go onto WP and make some insinuations about his sexuality, while remaining largely within the TOS. The reason I ended up going way over the top, and created all the fake profiles was because Lee was acting as his personal bodyguard and not allowing me to say anything that Parakeet would dislike.
For anybody that hasn't seen any of the fake profiles, this was my favourite. It was placed on a swingers site.

No philosophy, those creepy little karma messages freaked me out in the beginning, both giving and receiving; would rather people just respond in the threads even if just to laugh. There's the ability to be karma free here and tried that, but found out it worked by maxing out my karma so put me at the top of both karma stats lists and some didn't like that. So people just leave it alone, except for the new person now and then, and of course, semicolon. Cousin and sometimes others are kind enough to keep him in check.

No, it was the principle more than anything else, like most of this. I did not change it, he did. He should change it back. In fucking around with my avatar and title, sinbinning me and everything else, I am not inclined to be more willing to be receptive to any of his petulant demands or ultimatums. I do not want to HAVE to change it back. I don't want to have to jump through any hoops that he lays out for me even IF they are ultimatums and it risks me being banned for not marcxhing to his drumbeat.
