looking to figure out how to allow permissions so guests can post

Could you number the guests so we can tell which guest is speaking but not know their true personal online handle?

i am having a hard enough time with this.

at it stands guests can post anywhere in the start here boards.
i cannot figure out how to make it so they can only post here.

it seems to be working now... perhaps someone who can work out the board permissions fixed it ;)

yeah i know, but they can also post in any board that a guest can read.  so i had to limit the boards that guests can see.
i would like guests to see more boards but post only in this one and i cannot figure out how to make that happen.
i do admit to getting sidetracked though.

not any more. i fixed the permissions - this is the only board guests can now post in.

actually, I haven't I just fixed them in the 'start here' forums as I didnt realise just how many forums you'd opened to guest posting. :P

fixing the rest now...

(hint: next time, set individual group permissions for one forum at a time) ;)

i think the only other one was the main event callouts.  might as well let them post in advocasy.
we can be real strict about flaming posts from guests, since there could be a potential problem.

Woah, the forum default here is way different than my preference.  It's "cool" but kinda painful.  I don't care enough to actually log a complaint, though.
