Title: From Fire to Floods

Montecito (on the California coast between Santa Barbara and Ventura) has flooded out with massive mudslides.

Highway 101, the main north/south artery on the coast, was completely inundated with mud and debris, it's expected to be closed until the middle of next week.

The only way to go north and south at that point is to go 50+ miles inland to Interstate 5.
