I'd rather allude in code than come straight out. Believe me if such furniture falling happens in Australia,  USA, or even Sweden, I am going to mention it and express my wishes that people here are safe.

Unfortunately,  I think there may well be more falling furniture events in the future as it seems pretty common place. I hope people here are not victims of such furniture

Very pleased you are okay. I found out someone else in the general vicinity is okay. I was genuinely worried about you guys.

At places with a high terrorist risk they do.
Makes sense.

Cars are scary terrorist weapons. Glad he did not manage to hurt more.

Even in well guarded areas a simpele sedan can cause havoc. Look at Queens day 2009 in the Netherlands. A lone wolf with a bee in his bonnet.

Large populated areas are scary period.

In rural settings at least you know all your crazies or your somehow related to them.

It makes sense a parliament building would have it's own fulltime armed security staff, though they wouldn't necessarily be armed police to be deployed to other areas where an armed officer might be called in to protect and serve the general public. Maybe it's just the word police that's throwing me off.

Whilst I can't bring myself to shed any tears for any cops getting stabbed, or political turds being flushed, I wish these god damned sand-niggers would keep their collateral damage to themselves, civilians aren't acceptable targets, and neither is collateral damage resulting in their getting hurt or killed. If a pig gets killed on the job, I'd happily dance upon their corpses whilst their families watch at the funeral. Fucking bastards, they are nearly as big a seething slobbering imbecilic morass of trash and villainy as the camel-rapists.

Quote
Counsel to Lt. General Mike Flynn (Retired)

General Flynn certainly has a story to tell, and he very much wants to tell it, should the circumstances permit.

Out of respect for the Committees, we will not comment right now on the details of discussions between counsel for General Flynn and the House and Senate Intelligence Committees, other than to confirm that those discussions have taken place. But it is important to acknowledge the circumstances in which those discussions are occurring.

General Flynn is a highly decorated 33-year veteran of the U.S. Army. He devoted most of his life to serving his country, spending many years away from his family fighting this nation's battles around the world. He was awarded four Bronze Stars for actions in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere in the war on terror. He received the Legion of Merit twice, and the Defense Superior Service Medal four times. He is a recipient of the Defense Department's Distinguished Service Award and the Intelligence Community Gold Seal Medallion for Distinguished Service, as well as numerous other decorations.

Notwithstanding his life of national service, the media are awash with unfounded allegations, outrageous claims of treason, and vicious innuendo directed against him. He is now the target of unsubstantiated public demands by Members of Congress and other political critics that he be criminally investigated. No reasonable person, who has the benefit of advice from counsel, would submit to questioning in such a highly politicized, witch hunt environment without assurances against unfair prosecution.

I think this is going to be good and for him.

Trump letting him go and not standing with him was a shitty thing to do. Politically expedient maybe but shitty. Trump should have backed him (and Corey) BUT I think this will be a great way for Flynn to dump on the Left. How? By laying it all bare and whilst Trump DID accuse him of being untrustworthy for lying to Pence, the Left were fucking brutal in their accusations against this proud and decorated man. Here is his chance to set the record straight and dispel all of those lies and accusations from his character and in a setting where there is no blowback on him.

That is how the letter from counsel reads to me. It feels genuine to me. I think fair enough.

It may be that I misread this and it could be he is wanting to drag down Trump in some kind of petty revenge, I do not think so. If it happens that there is some crap for Trump to answer from this, fair enough. He ought not have ditched Flynn in the first place (Though I like his replacement too).

I am interested in how this goes. I honestly think that this is not the smoking gun and such you are looking for.

Paul Mannafort will likely be a better chance to get ANY dirt on Trump. IF offered immunity. Please be aware, if Mannafort has no juicy information, then simply put, there is none to find. Don't concern yourself with Flunn, wait for Mannafort!

See, this shows again how brainwashed you are.  He has a "story" to tell.  Who knows if he's being blackmailed, that wouldn't be beyond the CIA. If he provides evidence for Russia hacking the election that fair enough.  It just speaks volumes that you wouldn't have come across Flynn when he was speaking about how Obama was backing Al Qaeda in Syria to fight against Assad.  And it wasn't just a story, as the document was released under FOI.

I think Flynn was treated poorly. I do not think he has anything on Trump and I do not think any association will even touch trump. That said I do think that Flynn needs to throw out whatever he has and let the pieces fall where they may. I do not care who cops it over it. I think it should all come out.
You do make a good point though. Because he is under oath and irrespective of whether he has immunity from prosecution or not, how do we know he is telling the truth?

Why not provide the context and get the whole thing right? You're as bad as Trump, you're using a tragedy for advancing your (narrow and bigoted) views.

Why not provide the context and get the whole thing right? You're as bad as Trump, you're using a tragedy for advancing your (narrow and bigoted) views.

Fucking idiot.

Are you calling me a bigot, rapist? That has never ended well.

As to your context. When I bought up how serious and how frequent and dangerous radical Islamic Extremism was, you dismissed it with statistics on falling furniture occurences and how infrequent these attacks are and how unlikely these people (who had at that time had just been killed and were not even cold yet) were unlikely to be killed and neither was anyone.

It was disgusting and inappropriate and I stated it to be so and said I would introduce your falling furniture as an analogy and dismissal of such victims every time another incident happened and that it would keep happening.

Now you find my behaviour unacceptable because it mirrors your own dismissiveness. Equating victims of radical Muslim Extremists with victims of falling furniture and waving away a tragedy is suddenly poor form. At the moment you thought yourself defending Muslims I suppose, and in that moment the dismissal was ideologically okay.

It was not and isn't.  Pointing out that these are all done by radical Muslim Extremists is not bigoted. It never was. It's a charge you keep making because in your mind you cannot conceive of the notion that no one thinks all Muslims are or will be radical Muslim Extremists.  You see that term and you lose your shit. You start defending positions that were never taken.

None of us said Muslims are bad but we do say radical Muslim Extremists are. They are killing people in number and frequently. Calling them out for what they do when they do it, is completely legitimate and defensible. It is not bigoted.

Dismissing it or calling people who point it out or discuss it it fucking reprehensible. You are an ideological zealot and idiot.

And another again is the reason I gave. In fact, know the truth (being the one who actually posted it and not someone who did not and was not witness to it and was half a world away at the time and likely asleep when it happened) I am probably in receipt of better facts than you and your guesses are just that. Charitable or not.

Pretending otherwise is not merely dishonest but it is stupid as well

As someone who became the poster boy for intellectual dishonesty here, you should probably keep a low profile when it comes to these things.

There was nothing selective in what I asked you. I was asking specific questions based of pretty much the totality of what you said? The fact that you can't or don't want to answer says nothing terrible to myself and any alleged selective hearing of mine. I an actually more interested in where you were going to go with my dead mother that you raised in tbe other thread. you bought her into the conversation for some intent. I would like to know what that wad?

Yes, you do.

You brought her up and I let the first time slide and yo did a second time and I pounced on it because I am wondering, as Admin on this site whether you are going to attack member's deceased family members. This is no time to be mealy-mouthed, nor is it an opportunity to deflect by attacking whether or not I feel aggrieved, nor pretend that you had no idea, nor that you were joining in the "Yo Mamma" harmless jokes. Nor that I have missed some larger angle.

Cut the bullshit. Are deceased family members fair game now or not. If so or if not why? If they are not, why did you go there with mine? If you went there with me does that mean other members are potential targets, if not why?

They're not fair game, no, and I apologise if you think that is what I was doing. I wasn't, btw, but I can see that my reply from a couple of days ago could be read in that way. I didn't remember your Mum had passed away when posting what I did--I wouldn't have if I had remembered.

So, sorry about that.

No, not really. I have a pretty good guess.

Yup, this was definitely a terrorist attack and was definitely NOT Islamic extremism. Some bigoted piece of shit targeting Muslims.
My reason for not mentioning anything is twofold firstly I have been trying to NOT niggle or prod at you or give you grounds to believe you were having any mud slung at you. Secondly though, I have had sinusitis and bronchitis. I came down with it Thursday last week. I have had 3 days off work in the last 10 days or so and my motivation and energy to read and post has been deflated.

But DO tell what that "guess" is Odeon. Then say how you arrived there with no fact to support you.

Or perhaps if you have a question, instead of leaping to conclusions, asking questions is often a much better choice. What do you think?

Well then, share with class. You do not have the slightest idea about who or what I am and it would be beyond stupid to pretend you do BUT I am interested whether rather than making vague non-assertions you can spell it out or whether you would prefer to try to insinuate and niggle. Whether too, that rather proves once again my point about YOUR lack of restraint.

Then share and then express from where you derive this "actual" knowledge from. I would imagine that it would be right up there with "the voices in your head compel you" kind of batshit crazy to make a claim that you actually have complete access to ANYONE'S thought and inner workings. Fortunately, I do not have to defend such a bizarre and mentally unstable claim.

So share, it will be fun. Consider this the free hit I promised. I will be a sport.

No. I know what I know.
You know what you know.
I do not know what you know as it pertains to your inner workings
You do not know what I know as it pertains to my inner workings.
Believing to know more than you are capable of actually knowing, is a sign of incredible stupidity at best or clinical insanity at worse.

But you know what? I'm not going to push the point.
I will humour you and agree and wink conspiratorial like at you and pat your head and agree that everything in my head is in your head.

Why not? What does it cost me to humour you? I am a sport. I feel you need me to accept this craziness. It doesn't hurt me to do so and it means a lot to you.

It's interesting how you choose to interpret what I say.

I'm pretty confident about how you function in this context, re this thread and why the latest terror attack went unnoticed by you until I poked you, but I don't know or care about what's going in your mind other than that. From the looks of it, not much, but that's me being charitable since you are being a sport.

"You know and I know"

OR

You are "pretty confident"?

To help you with this assessment, there have been many attacks and incidents  I have not updated this thread on including the recent one in Michigan and recent one in Brussels.

But you still have not show how you are sharing my thoughtd "You know and I know".

I think you are trying to connect with me and its cute.

I can assure you that I have no wish to "connect with you". You'd have to be a complete spazz to read anything like that into my posts. Is that hoping against hope, Al?

Maybe it's just the usual. You see what you want to see.

Calling me a spazz is not that harsh on an Autistic board is it? I don't know, I won't push that point.

So you still know what I know or are you reasonably confident? I admit to not knowing what you know but I am fascinated in learning what you think you know.

How's yoyr confidence....and based on what exactly do you derive this apparent confidence.

I can only assume if you are hinting vaguely at us both having access to some secret and shared knowledge (which I am clueless about) but you are unable to do more than hint anf insinuate, it tells me two things. There is no such shared knowlesge and you are wanting me to think that thrre is and we share this secretive bond.

Sounds like you are trying to connect to me. Whilst its cute and I am flattered,  I still have no idea what you are about. I am not upset or offended.

I was just n Perth recently. I saw something move behind me and turned around and it was a guy dressed in a red tie, socks abd shoes...and nothing else, carring a bag. He cross the road. wandered around a bit. Looked a little worried, but was not threatening or even really drawing too many glances and eventually wandered off.

Neither of you despite being a bit rude and both being a little confused and vague, are being offensive.
