Title: "Who was that masked GA?"
Post by: GalileoAce on December 31, 2006, 12:44:58 PM
Might as well introduce myself, even though many a person here knows of the GAness that is GA.... Hmm might rewrite that line it looks too much like "the Gayness of GA"..Not that there's anything wrong with being gay of course.

Might as well introduce myself, even thought many a person here already knows of me from the good WrongPlanet days.

My diagnosis, whilst being technically irrelevant, is Autism Spectrum Disorder. Yay for non specificity! But there's probably something else lurking beneath the depths, other than my total coolness, in my unbiased opinion of course.

If I were choose the biggest addiction I had to anything, it'd be incredibly hard to choose between gaming (video games, Xbox, Nintendo etc) and the Internet (or just computer in general, hard to separate Computer and Internet as two separate entities). They are both my two biggest time consumers, behind my fiance of course.

Oh did you hear? Me and renaeden are going to be married in February  ;D :green:

But enough about me...wait this is about me. So MORE about me MORE I say :D

I'm graphically inclined, and you'll likely find one or two of my created images, photoshopped pics or photos popping up here from time to time..if I can remember to visit of course. Which shouldn't be too hard, this is renaeden's new obsession it seems so I'll probably be looking over her shoulder to see what she's looking at.

One last thing. I'm The Exception. :)

welcome Mr. E (exception)

some marriage advice i think would probably be in order.  so here goes:

1.)  go ahead and act like you are the king of your castle, yet remember that she is the one calling the shots.

2.) know that she is the glue holding it all together

3.) expect her to show patience with you, since that is a MUST in every successful relationship.

4.)  remember this phrase;  you are 100 percent correct and i am totally wrong.  i am sorry for being so insensitive.  it will NEVER happen again.

5.) do NOT go to bed angry with each other.  especially since make up sex usually rocks your world.

is there anything that i am forgetting....

congratulations you lucky dog.

It'll be plenty warm enough in February. Might I remind everyone that I walk upside down :P

Yeah, I forgot that detail. It may happen, again, yet.

It comes from trying desparately to NOT associate people with things or new people (you're new to me) with old, (already associated, catalogued, quantified, not necessarily aged) people.

The "memorable" part was intended as the center focus of the sentiment I was attempting.

I read somewhere that brides tend to get married within 6 weeks of their birthday...

Ello, welcome to intensity.  In what way are you graphically inclined?  Here is a challenge:  Draw a giant and a halfling in a 69.

That's really interesting, Quirky Carla.  I wonder if it is because the couple sometimes waits for the bride to be old enough to get married without her parent's consent.  My mother was married on her birthday, which was five days after Christmas.  I saw what she went through having so many of her special days so close together, so my husband and I got married exactly four months before my birthday.  The funny thing is, our daughter was born on our second anniversary!

That's the most encompassing slapback response, I've seen in a while.

I think that was a compliment, but your terminology is beyond me. I must learn this new language that is Intensity^2

Complimentary. A slapback is a very quick and precise echo, often used in multiples during mastering in a sound studio to confuse the listener as to the location of the original sound source. It has nothing to do with INTENSITY², except that he will have no rebuttal without abandoning of the original question. A continous echo in a sphere ... You got him!

Yeah, I'm not sure what the reasoning would be, but waiting for the bride to be old enough makes sense.  If it's REALLY close to the birthday, they could be trying to make their birthday more special or something. That is cute about your daughter.

My parents were married either in March or May...I can't recall.

If it were March that would just fall into the 6 weeks theory. But if it were May, that's way more than 6 weeks.

It would probably be like this:

:: GA and renaeden laying in bed ::

GA: So, we're married

renaeden: Yeah, it's cool.

GA: Yeah, cool.

renaeden: Okay, sleep time.

:: GA and renaeden go to sleep ::

Dawg: That sound. Did you hear it?

LadyDawg: What was it?

Dawg: I don't know.

LadyDawg: I heard it, too ... zz

Dawg: What was it? ... z

LadyDawg: What was what? ... zzz

Dawg: I don't know.  ... zzz
