Title: 2014 resolutions.
Post by: 'andersom' on December 25, 2014, 04:02:42 AM
New years resolutions may be ahead for some. But this is a thread for last minute resolutions for 2014.
What is it you would like to get done this year, or what is imperative to get over, before the clock strikes 12 times in the night of December 31.

I want to get my eyes checked, and pick myself a pair of glasses.
Reading glasses now are fine, for reading at arms length. Might be time for varifocal too. I find I can't think straight if I do not see well enough to my liking.

I should finally find a new host for us.

I don't make any people always seem to want to throw them back at you when they aren't working out

I should finally find a new host for us.

And you want to get that done this year?

That is :arrr: with all the holidays and a weekend in between, it will be hard.

It's impossible. I can't be arsed to do all the work anyway. But I want to, and I should.

There are goals that are easier to reach.

I resolve to try and lead a more stress-free life.

Actually I resolve to vacuum more...there seems to be a ton of cat hair on my keyboard this morning. :zombiefuck:

Gotta lose weight for sure.  It's not even a vanity issue anymore, it's a mobility issue.  :sumo:

Maybe it would be more fun to make resolutions for each other.  :orly: I resolve for the Weeble to do less laundry and wear more perfume and deodorant instead.  :zoinks:

I resolve to not lose my sanity this year.  If I do, there's no reward if you find it, just grateful thanks.

Same. Instead of walk, I kind of waddle. That's not good because I know that will probably eventually cause me joint problems.

I'd need to look it up, but I vaguely recall reading once that perfumes became popular in the hygienically
challenged Middle Ages.  Also, spices and salt were added to meat because there was no refrigeration.  :P

I have joint problems that come and go.  It's completely unnecessary!  :arrr:

Already having them, don't want them to become permanent. :thumbdn:

I hope weight loss will resolve most of mine.  I'm obese.  :sumo:

I'm sure it will help.

My troubles are mostly in the small joints where losing weight doesn't matter that much.

My left ankle is playing up. Pretty sure if I lost weight the pain wouldn't be so bad.

Because I've babied them, my fingers don't hurt as much.  I have hyperextensibility of the metacarphalangeal joints (double jointed fingers). (Spell check isn't working)

My left knee is acting up again.  It's probably muscular since I'm spending so much time sitting down.

My brother has hypermobile joints too.  Odd thing, that.  Just because one's joints can flex
that far, doesn't mean they should.  My joints hurt beacuse I'm just too heavy for them.  :sumo:

Had a friend when young with weird joints in the fingers; she could bend them so to look broken by only flexing tendons. Creepy.

I used to tighten and stretch them so that they looked like monster fingers.  The grade school boys were quite impressed.  I'm also double jointed in the elbows, knees and hips.
