1 of the most common side fx of AS is OCD. even beyond this, many non-aspi/auttis are a little OCD in some way. i propose a game in which members post anonymously about a little ritual they have, as we see if we can guess the member by the ritual. though i am sure ppl will guess who i am because of posting stile alone for this post.
i'll start: i live to put spray butter and cinnomon on bagels, but then scrape the top half around in the butter/cinnamonand partake of this concoction of cinnamon, sugar, and goo until it's mostly gone from the plate. generally this only takes a few bites.

Yes, and I willl believe someone who's mind is not completely normal too. Your thinking is black and white, and so I question it. My therapist knows me better than you and is a clinical social worker. I do take breaks from ginseng, because I think continual use exhaustes the adrenals. I just love what it does, and that can happen with other things too. I just keep mentioning it to annoy the fuck out of you. Tell you what, I will find another one!

I've got a new camera now; it's one my uncle sent my mum, which she didn't want. It's a fairly cheap £50 one, but it's absolutely tiny, the picture quality is ok, and it takes videos, plus he sent a 1GB flash card for it, to replace the crappy 16MB one it came with. I'm probably going to take it everywhere with me from now on, so I might start taking lots more pics to fill up those boring moments.

My bathing ritual.
I walk downstairs and select a shirt and underwear, walk over to the couch and toss the shirt onto the couch, walk to the closet, take out a beach towel(a new one every time), walk into the bathroom, close the door, and toss the towel at the corner where the bathtub meets the wall. I then take down all the towels hanging up, and toss them into the corner between the door and the wall. I then take off all my clothing, and put it in the corner as well. Only then do I open the door a crack and toss my underwear out onto the floor right before the door.
I then slide the doors of the shower to the right, necessitating me manuevering around the toilet, to turn on the water. Then I make sure the tempreture is right, pull the shower-on handle, take off my glasses and set them on the toilet top, and step in.
I get used to the water by turning around and soaking. I pick up the soap, and hold it in the path of the water to heat it up, and then procede to lather my nether regions once. Rinse. Lather and apply again, also applying soap to my face. Then I pick up the shampoo, take some out, lather it in my hair. Turn to face the water and begin rinsing. I do that twice. After I have washed my hair, I rinse my face, and my nether regions once again(the soap I let sit during washing my hair). After that is done, I stand up to the showerhead and let the water hit the base of my neck for a few moments. It is relaxing.
I then turn off the water, open the door of shower(opposite door to the one I enter), exit, and begin drying using my beach towel. I get every area I can think of, put on my glasses, walk outside to figure out which areas I missed(they're different... every day), walk back in and dry up. My glasses get all foggy, and I walk out, and put on my underwear standing naked in the corridor.
I then go put on my shirt, and go back to put on deoderant and brush my teeth.

There's something on people's posts that tells you, you'll have to ask an admin where that is though. I would assume that where it says 'logged' at the bottom of other people's posts that's where it tells admins the IP.

Well the timing was what made me think it was nomaken in the first place, as well as the posting style being like him, I saw him log off, then log back on again soon after the guest post appeared.. :laugh:

I actually did scrutinize over who it could be, if people guess right it makes more sense for the member to own up and makes it less likely for people to start playing hit and miss until the right person is found. Think about it- if someone guesses right and then that member makes it look like it was wrong guess, then people are going to start suggesting other people even if logically they don't seem like the most likely people to have posted that.

Despite the obvious ability of people to predict who is who by writing style, theoretically you can't know for sure who it is, so if you guess right, it doesn't matter because you can't know if you are right.
We don't have that many people on this forum. And if each person guesses someone different, and the author must reveal once discovered they will eventually uncover the real author in only a few tries. On the other hand if there is a waiting period each member can guess several times and debate with others, and actually have fun reasoning out a conclusion before it is revealed.
And I don't think it is fair that the author can't post about their own post nonanonymously because it makes it much more likely that they are the author if they dont participate.
So if the point of this game is to reason out who is who just on the basis of the ritual itself, there are several things undermining that if one, there is no set waiting period, and two the author can't join in on discussion.

The admins can tell who it is just from the IP. That kind of takes the fun out of it for me. I would ignore the IP's, but I can't control the impulse...AND IT PISSES ME OFF WHEN PEOPLE LIE!

I haven't been using the IP address. Those are numbers, lots of numbers, i cant keep track of it. It just washes over me and I forget them. And I didn't lie. I just said who I would have guessed it was. What I declined to say was "if i didn't already know it was me." But that doesn't make the previous statement any less true.

Spot on. Blanking strangers means I literally don't look and don't respond and don't acknowledge them in any way if they try and talk to me or anything else like that.

I do that too! Unfortunately, its not just strangers. Someone will say something to me, and I'll hear it and think about it, but not say anything back about it... I didn't know the process had a name but I'm glad it does.

I also at least once a day put Aloe Vera moisturizing lotion or gel on my hands and feet and also put sunscreen on my exposed areas every time I go out during the summer months.
