Title: Question før Lutra
Post by: 'andersom' on February 10, 2012, 02:45:46 PM
Hey Lutra,

You are making me curious.

Why the ø's?
Title: Re: Question før Lutra

Nø reason really.

Well, blah, but.. I have a tendency to speak in somewhat bizarre voices or accents (RL mostly) when I try to act a tadski silly and ja, since this is a forum where one types out the things one's trying to express.. that's me kinda giving that a go that way.

Sørry.

Sørry.

Døn't be sørry, brings back childhood memories.

My middle brother started it, and somehow we ended up to talk a whole summer with an ø replacing every vowel.

Right now, I am surrounded by girls using a kind of "Almelose O" and a kind of "Haagse kak E" a lot.  And, with my Dad, I like to talk in our version of "Gronings". (Not the dialect either of us is raised in, but, it is fun to do it)

As a kiddo I was quite good at doing voices, dialects or accents. No kid ya. I picked up/copied someone's (different) accent quite fast.

There was a 'phase'/early puberty where I phoned random folks up and started talking in a child/baby's kind of way and 'role-played' for a minute then. Cracked me and my neighbourhood 'friends' up beyond cracking then. Twas really childish stuff but ja, we laughed.

Can do, after 11 years of living in Berrege, a pretty decent (over the top) Brabants accent too now. Like to do 'plat Amsterdams' also sometimes.

~

Oh, maybe if someone else has a question for me to answer.. I'd say drop it here and perhaps I'll give you a reply to your question then.

Have you planted any bulbs in your garden lately?

I thought when planting bulbs you do it in the fall?

Are you an otter?

For a troll, you try way too hard. :facepalm2:

How was that particular post trying too hard?

Seems like a weird post to say that about, unless I am missing something

I'm guessing a good troll is one who can cleverly and successfully make people feel cheap and dumb without putting in much effort to do so.

Asking someone whether he is an otter or not because he has an avatar of an otter is just pointless even for trolling purposes. I mean, it's not like Lutra's going to get all puffed up and angry because of it. So why bother saying it?

What? I was asking lutra a question about  planting bulbs for a flower garden. I was under the impression that it is best to put the bulbs in the ground during the fall, but I could be wrong.

You are getting upset because I asked lutra if he is an otter.  ::)

Yep, carry on with your try-hard trolling.

Yes, planting bulbs in (late) fall is a sensible thing to do. The state of inertia of the said bulb then tends to be a good start for them to flourish in Spring later on. This goes for small trees and shrubs as well.

And I'm not really an otter of course.. homo sapiens² ego sum.. but I love the mustelidae family. Creatures like the ermine, the martens and the otter too of all animals are a tadski like me, I reckoned.

Kinda small, nocturnal, solitary, playful, can be witty, brave, blahiah.... Wondered (before/earlier) reading 'about the fox Reynard' (N.W. European medieval folklore saga) what creature would suit me.. and blah ja, thought mustelidae, liking them..

And no, I haven't planted any bulbs in the garden this year/end of last.. to answer Callaway. Did rearrange stuff/gave some shrubs a new place and I have planted some new bought herbs, like mint and thyme, in a corner. Um, to be honest, haven't done that much in the garden last year. We had a really wet Summer last year and.. I..

That is what I assumed.

What type of garden do you have? I mean, is it a vegetable garden or one with flowers and other non-edible plants?

Folks assuming things about me tend to have it wrong quite often.. but suit self ofc..

Well, it's a small garden (city garden) with a lot of non-edible plants but with a fig and a plum tree in it also. Some edible herbs too. And ja, I eat what they produce.

I meant that is what I assumed about the bulbs, not you personally.  :asthing:

Do you ever smoke any of the herbs you grow?

Sounds like you are confusing yourself there Emile.

Lutra have you travelled in Europe? Where to?

May I be frank with you, Al Swearengen. It has come to my attention that you are displaying an unfortunate amount of jealousy towards I. By quarreling we shall imitate all of mankind, who can easily bicker in their own place, on their own. Let us do better. How about you try to show that you have the chivalry to disregard petty misunderstandings. If you cannot, it will show your inner weakness still has a firm grasp on you.

Please try to be more reasonable and rational. Thanks.

I have no question Lutra. Wait, yes I do. How big would you say your garden is? You wrote it is a city garden.

By my word dear chap, I should be no more jealous of you than I would codfish. Such accusations shall not affront my honour. Arm yourself with a codfish and take ten paces...then on my mark...

What?!
You mean Lutra isn't an Otter?

My perception of I2 is shattered.  :(

^ Um, sørry..

Yes, I have travelled a bit through Europe earlier in life. Mostly with family, sometimes with friends and some of it alone.

Pooh. Well, been to the Czech Republic 6 or 7 times.. it's a country I always enjoyed visiting (in wintertime/to ski). Been to Germany, France, Belgium and Luxembourg more than once also. Seen a bit of Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Finland, UK/London mostly too.

Um, and where, apart from home, I liked best? Tough one.. France has truly beautiful features, the Czech people (farmers in mountain areas) tend to be kind, Walloon/Belgium and Luxembourg was nice, and I liked Germany too. Visiting Switzerland and Austria was cool also. Um, dunno..

I'm looking for affordable fly tickets to Canada at the moment (probs will set me back for €900/1100).. I hope to visit my oldest sister that lives there later on this year. No certainty I'll go but.. that would be nice.

~

Smoking herbs out of own garden? Well, did smoke the dried sap of the poppy flower knobs a few times a couple of years ago but whilst it was nice it makes my joints hurt like fuck the day after.. so..

Nothing to smoke other than that plant extract, I'm aware of, is there.. in the garden of p/m 300 m², I think.

Which country are you currently living in?

Zimbabwee.. and ja, I find what's been said in 'the 'N' word' thread highly offensive.

^ First he writes.. 'Welcome in/on my list of friends. If it's your first visit here I hope to become your friend too.. but but I'm not really looking for I'm the slave/sub of dominamistress R now. She's on an other site.'

Um, dominamistress? Don't really know about the 'terminology' used in the 'sub/dom circles'.. it's not part of my world really.

Last sentence: 'Hope the doms (F/M) on my list will remain my friends.'

And.. Flemish is basically Dutch with some small differences. A dialect that sounds a tadski different than the language (central/common Dutchlandish) I speak.. but easy to follow nonetheless.
