Hmm, do not really do pride much. A few years ago I managed to keep going an exchange of small talk with a cashier in Sainsbury's which I felt proud of for long after. It is a rare event. Pathetic but true.

I am neither fond of it nor dislike it. But I am still new and these things take time, seems interesting though, which is why I registered.

In reverse order:
I am on the way from the latter to the former. I used to have a point-and-shoot camera which meant I did not need to know anything but it was too frustrating because it was so limited so I have not-so-long ago upgraded to a DSLR. Picked up all the technical knowledge quickly enough, now having to teach myself to put it all into practice.
My photography interests are in landscapes and sports (well rugby league), annoyingly expensive as it means long and wide lenses. Part of the frustration with my old camera was that for sports it neither had reach nor speed and you had to preempt anything by around a second before pressing the shutter.
It is all fun though, right now I just need to keep trying to get myself out of the house and go places so I can practice.

They are not really saying anything. I am not a big fan of some of the people on Aspie Village and left a while go, but re-joined and just saw this site mentioned in an old thread so thought I would check it out.
From the few comments I saw I got the impression they do not like it here.
Yes, I would say they dislike us here.
AV is a supportive and friendly non-confrontational site and so the antithesis of this one. Both have their place, it is good to have both.
I anonymously post on another site and so do not sign my name, it is very difficult and I still do it without realizing.
