There's no reason for my name at all. I didn't want to use my real one because I'm paranoid someone I know will come across an embarrasing post and I'll never be able to live it down. I just picked butterflies because there's a few of them in the picture I'm using for my avater.
Small ponies are pretty cute, although I'm not too sure about a nazi pony.

Unfortunately I have intimacy issues and could never sleep with someone untill I felt really comfortable with them. The few relationshiops I've had have ended because I never felt comfortable enough to sleep with them, and in the end the guys have drifted away because they felt I wasn't attracted to them. I promised my last boyfriend I would sleep with him but I kept putting it off and in the end getting away from him was one of the main reasons I ended up moving from Scotland to N.Ireland.

If I'm not mistaken, the average couple has sex by the 3rd date. That has been my experience too. I had 3 girlfriends that fucked on the 2nd date.

You really need to get over your intamacy issues and just fuck like a wild bunny. The world will be a happier place.  ;)

I don't know about the world being a happier place, but I'd certainly be a happier girl.
I'd love to be able to "fuck like a wild bunny" but any time I'm faced with having sex with someone I don't feel totally comfortable with I end up becoming really sick. And yup, I am obviously still a virgin.

This might be a random time to point out something very important, but iphone photos tend to attach EXIF metadata containing GPS coordinates of where the photo was taken.

So yeah, not a good idea to post photos if taken by certain phone cameras. Just thought I'd randomly point that out. ;)

PROTIP: Best to never publicly post images of yourself ever, unless you erase the EXIF metadata first.

Hey, is that just the iphone, or all phones and/or PDAs?

First generation iphones are not affected, but here's some more information on geolocation tags in EXIF metadata:

Can't you simply turn that feature off? It's turned off by default on my Nokia.

Not sure. I only learned about this due to trolls dox dropping people who have iphones with this feature.

To be honest, cameras on phones are pretty much gimmicks. They're fun for a while, but they can't beat the quality of a good compact/DSLR.

Few people carry a stand-alone camera with them at all times, so phone cameras are useful for making records of unexpected events, especially when there are legal or civil liabilities associated with the event.

Which part of Scotland are you from, and how does Northern Ireland compare?

The first mobile camera I found somewhat useful was that on my Nokia N95. Not good, by any means, but adequate when all I needed to do was to document something.

I grew up in a town called Grangemouth, but moved to Wishaw to stay with my aunt and uncle as soon as I left school. Wishaw is one of the shittiest places in Scotland so I was happy enough to leave it. I find N. Ireland a strange place. The sectarianism upsets me a lot and I hate the idea that people might dislike me because I'm not "one of them." The troubles are supposed to be over but there's still so much hatred in the country. I'm in an awkward position because I'm neither Unionist or Republican so I doubt if I'd really fit in with anyone.
For all that though, the worst thing in this country is definately the Indian food :LOL: In Scotland you can go into almost any Indian takeaway and get a meal that's hot enough to blow your head off. Over here though every Indian meal tastes the same. They use the same super mild sweet sauce on every meal. I've tried just about every Indian in town and they're all the same. You can't even get proper nann bread in the restaurants. It's just the crappy stuff you buy in supermarkets rather than the proper hand made stuff.

I grew up down in Ayrshire, in Stewarton and later in Dunlop, and now I live in Clarkston, about 20km west of Wishaw.  My mum's partner grew up in Wishaw, but he tries to conceal that fact, and likes to pretend that he's from one of the less shitty areas around here.

Once it's in a public place, you're allowed to take photos of anything you want. This includes people, but many are ignorant to the fact. They can't do anything about it even if they object, but they can if I kept on following them. Taking photos of kids is still technically legal, but frowned upon because of the whole paedophile stuff going on. I'd never take photos of kids though unless it's a particular occasion, to be safe.

I usually take my DSLR along with a couple of lenses around with me most of the time. If it's a particularly dodgy area, I bring my tripod to ward off any scumbags that eye it up. My compact sometimes goes with me instead if I want to be less conspicuous.

I personally wouldn't buy one because I find they're overrated and well... crap.

I had an XDA orbit a while back, practically the same thing but with:
- More features (GPS, etc.)
- Better battery life

On top of that, it was CHEAPER and guess what? I came out a few years before the 1st iPhone! Revolutionary my arse. :laugh:

Let me put this in terms of a metaphor.

Apple=motor scooter

PC=turbo crotchrocket

Do you understand folks? You can do a lot more and have a shitton more fun with a pc(crotchrocket), and its way cooler.

Apple(motor scooter) is safer and more economical, but its pretty lame.

Scooters aren't lame. I have one and it's only 125cc, and I can do 70mph on it. They are great fun. I have to admit I wouldn't mind a fast motorbike though.

They aren't safer at the same speed, but a "crotch rocket" can go much faster than a scooter. You're pretty much limited to around 70mph at a real push on most scooters. Good motorbikes can go well over 100mph.

Unless it topples over you are much safer in a golf cart than a car. If you have a scooter that can go 70mph, you'll go at 70mph. If you have a "crotch rocket" that goes 140mph, you'll go at 140mph, and be more likely to kill yourself.

If I had a "crotch rocket" there's no way I could resist driving it flat out :)
