my wife was saying that some arab country claims that they will destroy the world on august 22 with nuclear bombs.
has anyone else heard about this?

I seriously doubt any Arab country has a nuclear arsenal of any size, let one of the size to destroy the whole world, not even America has a nuclear arsenal of that size and they have a huge one which could do a lot of damage if they were all fired at once.

I've heard it suggested that it's unlikely that the Iranians would manage to develop a nuclear bomb, because they're not clever enough.
The average Iranian IQ is about 90. By comparison, the average white IQ is about 100, and the average Ashkenazi Jew IQ is 113.
It's suggested that the tradition of cousin marriage in Muslim countries has not done the average Muslim IQ any favours.
I think there would still be cause for concern though. All you need are a few Iranians at the far right of the bell curve, and a few nutcases from Hezbollah to push the buttons, then you've got problems.
I should point out as a matter of pedantry that Iran is not an Arab country; it is a majority Persian country.
If I made a mistake like that I'd never hear the end of it. Hehehe. :D

It's not that difficult to construct a nuclear bomb. Any university graduate in physics knows what it takes. The problem is getting the ingredients, and building the ignition device (often dynamite but probably plastic explosives these days) to set off the chain reaction. I'm fairly sure that the Iranians have the physics knowledge.

I understand there are some countries that haven't yet felt the suicidal urge to let millions of Muslim barbarians in. Like Finland and Japan. There aren't many left, I'll grant you that.

You obviously havent heard of the cases of arrests in the US for alleged messages encouraging the assasination of GB like the school play etc. Try google. It would be nice if America pointed it's guns away from fellow citizens and towards the ruling elite but i dont see that happening soon.

I'm disappointed. Never in my life have I felt so alive, and involved in the world, and a part of history as the week the world trade center fell. Never have I felt the weight of reality, or the appreciation for existence as it is during daily living as in those days. When a major disaster happens and a whole lot of people die it really puts things in perspective. It is a nice change from the daily bullshitting that leads only to minor inconvenience painted as gradual progress.
