necromancer, what is the significance of your username?
In fantasy and horror fiction, necromancers are often considered evil wizards and are sometimes said to have sold their soul to a demon or the Devil himself -- to worship demons and evil gods, or to have been otherwise tainted by their evil practices. However, in some stories, necromancy is not inherently evil, but is simply a tool to be used like any other. (wikipedia)

i'll show you my tool later.

Why all this talk about BDSM here, of all places? Do a Google search, and you'll find lots of BDSM message boards. Seems to me that you'd prefer posting in one of those but don't have the experience/guts/whatever.

i post in those too, but they dont have sections for aspies.
looks to me like you're the one with no stomach for it.
so you do have limits here. oh well.

or could it be - the BDSM thread has eclipsed the others in post per day stats.
and i am not talking about BDSM here, i am talking about it in the bdsm thread. you're the one who brought it up here.

Actually you were the one to bring BDSM up everywhere else so I figured that this was the place to ask you why. This is your ask away-thread, is it not?

As for limits, no, sorry, you misunderstood. I don't mind at all, I just think that so far you've come off as someone who's pretty insecure about sex, especially this particular variety,  but would like to appear as anything but.

Was that the answer to my question? And if it was, do you think that Aspie BDSM would be any different from the NT variety?
Title: Re: Ask the Necromancer
Post by: Nomaken on July 15, 2006, 05:56:31 PM
Well the thing is that i've looked at the fantasy realm(all the stories in fantasy) and i can't find any consistent benefits to using dead as opposed to living in your creations and tools and shit.  And I'm pissed about that because i'd love to live in a realm where I could be a genius necromancer myself.  So I was wondering about your observations.

finally! an intelligent question!
btw, you might question your own obsession with bdsm - it sin't the only thing i post about.
i started those threads because i don't see much in the way of limit testing here and also because i have the same question as you - are we different? i don't know, i am hoping to find out. if anything was different i think it would be that we would be more focused about getting to the point of endurance and maybe get there faster.
as far as me being insecure. i have what i need IRL.

the truth is out there.
nothing else.
there is no such thing as a complete personality (ask your wife if you think i'm lying)
therefore, no, i am not.
not everyone is always bursting at the seams.

Dont you have any interest in getting to know anyone else here properly?

depends on what you mean by properly. the answer probably is no, because there are far better places for me to get to know someone than on a site where people reserve the right to whack at random. not my cup of tea. there are people who come to this site (or used to) that i have gotten to know.

Serious can indeed get boring, but incoherent garble or come across like a fake alter ego can be just as bad sometimes even more so, but it depends what your here for, i noticed you said fun in another thread which im presuming may also mean take the piss, so its all good. ;D

Thank you for the reply (which actually seemed like a proper reply for a change, like the one you made in the "are we bullies" thread).

Not at all Necro, i dont think your that bad at all, i just like to see posts that are coherent, seem real or that dont come across like bullshit, or as if they were made by an alter ego. Most of yours have had that alter ego, fake bull effect, (hey your not alone) but then i see the posts that are coherent etc and it seems like theres a real person there under it and not just the alter ego, which is cool and instead of rolling my eyes and scrolling down, i actually notice them properly. Thats all. 8)

As for my 6inch heels, what you wanna borrow them, or would you prefer i ram them up your.......... ;)

K you can continue with your alter ego again, you know you wanna. ;D ;)

necromancer's incoherent ravings must be an alter ego because necromancer would NEVER post like that....
OR
necromancer's incoherent ravings are DIFFERENT from anyone else's incoherent ravings (and if posting pics of your GM isn't incoherent, i don't know what is)

maybe he has finally gotten his head together.  for which i am happy to see.  hopefully he will begin to resolve our issues with me.

Nah. I think it's his usual confused state of being. Why would he want to drag the discussion over to The Wronged if he wants to whine about INTENSITY²?

that's why i think he has acted late in the game.

I know you didn't ask for advice, but, my advice is to let it slide and let things develop on their own!  I know how hard it is to do that, especially the compulsive thoughts about things that have grabbed us by the balls in the past!  He does things his way, as you do, too!

Thats a formula for Head butting sooner or later!

Necromancer, what difference could it possibly make to you if INTENSITY² has a purpose, if it is living up to its purpose or if its purpose changes over time?  Why don't you make your own statement of what you think its purpose is to you, just like some of the other members have done? (http://www.intensitysquared.com/index.php?topic=1966.0)  What is your purpose in having a debate about the purpose of INTENSITY² on the Wronged, which is purely an advocacy site?  INTENSITY² is the place for such a debate, or you could start a debate on your own site, the Neurolands (http://forum.neurolands.com/phpBB2/index.php).  You should not be hijacking an advocacy site to play some sort of game with people.  The Wronged is not the correct place for a debate of this type. Were you the friend of Pyraxis' who had insurance issues?

If you were:

First, did you pay the COBRA for the full amount of time, which I think is 18 months?

If so, then if the insurance company has something called conversion policies, then they have to issue the conversion policy to you and cover all your pre-existing conditions.

I found all this out when we lost our insurance coverage and we couldn't get an individual policy that would cover our daughter's pre-existing conditions.

It was very crappy insurance and expensive, but at least we had insurance that would cover her.

Hmm, it depends on the individual. How alive they look, and the greatest amount of life they have had at a point in their life.
