in that case i should be on klonopin. :P i did get benzos for alcoholism once, i was drinking a quarter liter of vodka a day and the doctor thought that was too much. :laugh: i went home and popped some pills with whatelse, vodka. :P (of course this is not advisable) :P
benzo buzz is the best, if it's good benzos. temazepam and valium are amazing. i haven't tried clonazepam. i've tried oxazepam, that was nice, and mmm i took some crap benzo not long ago, i had to take 3 and it still didn't work much. i can't remember what the funk it was.

I have an Rx for it I take it for sleep and anxiety. Buzz well it just has a nice calming effect on me all warm and cozy, take too much it knocks you out and makes you very spacey it also fucks with your memory

That's what I was having and don't care if you think I'm a troll. I never even thought of it the way you are reading it. If you look hard enough you could find troll in just about everything. There is something about Krispy Kreme donuts that is that is like drugs. I also like the kind from Smith's Bakery hich aare actually better tasting than Krispy Kreme. I get my birthday cakes from there. They make really good sugar cookies.

Other than that I am on:
Chlormethiazole, loprazolam, nitrazepam, tizanidine, idomethacin, oxycontin, oxynorm (instant release oxycodone), xylometazoline, pregabalin, gaviscon.....that I remember.
It seems that I have a long list of scripts for so many things, something always needs a re-tune. And if I can't get a script for something that needs retuning I will just invent something to do the job.
Oh yes, being an autie chemhack rocks.

My hip is fucked, thanks to the way I walk changing due to knee injury as a kid.
And the only way I can sleep is by shutting my adrenals down. Chlormethiazole is a sedative too, but its actions on the GABAa chloride channel smack more of barbiturates than benzos. I am resistant to all GABA drugs, or almost all of em.
I can take 50mg of nitrazepam and not feel it. or a months worth of loprazolam pills in one swallow. And it will not knock me out. I'm just funny, pharmacologically. Alcohol effects me, as does muscimol. So does propofol, although that has crosstalk effects on the endocannabinoid system, Other than that my responses to GABAa modulators are....limited.
Never tried a neurosteroid though. I have been meaning to reduce pregnenolone to pregnanolone sometime and knock up an IV formulation for test purposes. Other than that, my GABA system is....wierd. As are my circadian rhythms GABAb agonists too affect me strangely. Baclofen has very little hypotonic effect on me.

Heartburn yes, its to protect my innards from the indomethacin, NSAIDS can be a bitch on the GI tract. So a slug with every capsule. Helps stop those chlormethiazole caps from giving me heartburn when they open and start to gush their sedating goodness freebase contents.

Does nicotine count? I've got a couple of nicotine mouth sprays. And of course, I like my rollups.
I've found that highish doses of nicotine produce very vivid dreaming. So intense that I don't know if I am awake or asleep at times.

Lol I actually like spraying the mouth sprays onto a rollup and letting it dry before smoking. There is something 'missing' from the mouth sprays. I think the beta-carbolines that occur in tobacco with their MAOI properties add that hinishing touch to make everything more satisfying. I reckon they should add a trace of harmine/harmaline into the mouth sprays, they occur naturally within tobacco.
And if I remember rightly, nicotine in and of itself is not all that addictive, but combined with a MAOI then its another matter entirely. Speaking of which, time to go squirt some more of that stuff in my gob. The lucid dreams those sprays being are something else entirely. Crazy vivid and quite enjoyable. The only other similar effect I've noticed is within the first few days of using valerian root or extract. A tolerance is built extremely quickly to this effect, but valerian in me gives me very vivid dreams. Tachyphylaxis occurs to the oneirogenic effect way too quickly for my liking. l

Oh, and I forgot to mention, now on lyrica/pregabalin, along with loprazolam, some more tizanidine (its short acting), a bit more oxy and chlormethiazole. Probably a fair bit of nitrazepam floating around in my system. As well as a 30mg dihydrocodeine pill I found under my bed from an old script.
My MXE has been shipped...Hopefully it'll get here either tomorrow or monday. I do wish it would hurry the hell up though. Some of that will be going in my arm as soon as it gets here in the mail :D

Ick! I hate tramadol. Its one of those marmite opioids, one either loves it, or hates it, with not much in between. The SNRI effects make me uncomfortable, and its prone to causing seizures in doses above about 400mg. I'd need way more than that if I were to use it for my pain meds, due to A-tolerance and B-the extent of my knee and hip pain.
Shitty recreationally too IMHO. Wouldn't do shit to me at <300-400mg doses. Absolutely fuck all.

What else...Nicotine, thats about it. Both rollups and a nicotine spray I have on my scripts to quit smoking. Although I don't want it for that. I want the memory support activation of nicotinic acetylcholine receptors of the CNS type gives, and the increase in concentration, as well as the additional analgesia from the induced release of opioid peptide neurohormones (endorphins and enkephalins)
I find that the nicotine spray gives me incredibly vivid, out there and lucid dreams. I love the nicotine dreams. Apart from the scary ones...those are just too vivid, and so strong I don't always know if I am awake or asleep. Had one about being kidnapped by black africans who wanted to drain my blood away with a huge great needle in my neck. I remember grabbing the needle and holding it away. The negroes were not violent, just seemed to accept the passive resistance, in pushing the big sodding turkey baster of a pin away and holding it there, but it was still shit scary. The big bags of blood hanging from the car were a pretty ominous sign. Those transfusion style blood packs were everywhere. And the negroes wouldn't explain what they wanted it for, just kept talking amongst themselves in some african tribal language. Other than that though the dreams have all been enjoyable. Sorry, but no damn nigerian is stealing MY blood. No thank you.
I think I'll do another 10mg of oxy though, my last shot was 20....but it hasn't quite hit the spot. Then I'm going to tuck myself into a nice warm bed, read a bit more of my book, and go to sleep.

Got 10g of methoxetamine winging its way express to me, to complete my opioid taper (and will use OTC cough remedies based on codeine if I feel at all rough)
Not sure how in hell I am going to IV the stuff though, I woke up today with wrist drop. One hand is mostly paralyzed. When I last booted up some oxy, I had to attach the micron filter to my rig one handed and do an IM injection rather than an IV. And draw up the solution holding the rig in my teeth, as I couldn't do it one handed.
I slept funny on that arm, sitting upright, and it got compressed for hours against my chair. The only other possible cause I can think of is maybe heavy metal toxicity, as in my welding work I use a silver/cadmium based rod to make the metal-to-metal joins with.
If it doesn't improve in a day or two I am going to my doc about that, no doubt about it. Makes rolling a smoke into an incredible battle when I have to skin up one handed. And as for doing an IV? oh boy, difficult is not the word. Damn hard to type, I can only use one finger on my right hand, plus my left hand as normal. I'm right handed too. Makes using a mouse with my 'dead' hand pretty difficult too. I have to manually position my right hand on the mouse, and occasionally reposition the mouse with my left. Uggh....I want a fag, and have to roll them one handed and use my mouth to help roll them.
Whats really bothering me is that I just cant work until my hand starts working again, I haven't enough strength to hold a welding torch, and would just drop it and burn through the gas line trailing on the floor, blowing up the entire shed.
Got my MXE cheap too this time, at least 25 quid or so off. 5g packs are o sale for 50 quid. Whereas 10g is 120, and with my bonus for repeat custom, another few quid off, plus my loyalty code, thats a further 15% off.
so 2x5g packs plus express shipping brought it down to 80 odd quid :D
Need more rigs for it though, more micron filters, sterile water amps and needles. Time to go order those now. That should be enough to taper on (NMDA antagonists block opioid tolerance, or even reverse existing tolerance) and then some. I use it in cycles, occasionally, to lower my tolerance to pain meds, and its an effective nonopioid analgesic in and of itself, works a treat for that, and quite enjoyable too ^_^
Time to do battle with my rolling papers and baccy, and then try and use a lighter. Thank the outer gods I have one of those piezoelectric clicker lighters. With my hand and wrist this way I couldn't use matches.

Its a mystery to me too. I'm going to see the doc about the wrist-drop in a few days. I think I may have fallen asleep in a weird position and done some nerve damage by compressing the nerve for too long a time. Good news is I've heard from others that its happened to and they have recovered with physio. As for how I skin up with one hand, I press the baccy into the paper with a random object thats thin, like a pair of artery forceps then roll around it with the other hand, my mouth and the limited function in my thumb and forefinger.
Shooting up is MUCH more difficult...I have to draw up with my teeth AND be real careful not to drive the needle further in when pulling back to register and not to pull out of the vein. doing that with my left hand is not my strong point. Used to be able to though.

An arseload of benzos, loprazolam and nitrazepam. Completely without effect. Majorly overloaded, its helped some but not by much. Taking a months worth of both, completely without effect. Construction work on the new lab really overloaded me. I need to go get some earplugs, I'm out of 'em.

I found some more lorazepam this morning. They don't have much of an effect on me either but they are better than nothing.

Found? benzos do little to me. I still keep picking up my nitrazepam and loprazolam scripts though, they are useful as anxiolytics but put me to sleep? lol, I must be built like a tank when it comes to benzos, the amount it takes to do that of any of 'em is ridiculous. I take chlormethiazole and even that doesn't do much. I put it down to being spesh and the weird metabolism that comes with it. I'm surprised my doc is willing to give me the scripts he does, but he does realize I probably have a far better idea of how they all work and why than he does.

Well, you said you're 'biochemically weird' or something? Must make it difficult to work out the effects the stuff will have on you but you've obviously had rather a lot of that experience, too. That's the part they can't cover, anywhere else & that you'd know more about, anyway!

Found as in they were in my drawer and I forgot they were there.
I just took sodium valproate, ziprasidone and reboxetine.

Oxycontin, oxynorm (IR oxycodone), tizanidine, some loprazolam (different from lorazepam, weird-arse benzo few people seem ever to have heard of, it was a new one on my doc, and when I had breathing difficulties for a few days, and called out paramedics, they too assumed I meant lorazepam, and I had to explain the difference) and 3 chlormethiazole capsules, in an effort to get some sleep.
Not much use though, tonight was one of those nights where I just can't sleep. I didn't expect too much though given my general resistance to GABA drugs. Took some fexofenadine also (long acting antihistamine, as my pain meds were making me itch)
Have to go to the docs in a little while and make an appointment, I need more pain meds, I ran out of OCs earlier, didn't realise at the time, but the script must have been mistyped, giving me a weeks supply, where I am meant to get two. Compensated for running out on sunday by taking an equal quantity of oxynorm to the OCs I was meant to have, so I feel fine. Either that or they simply reprinted my last script, not realising that I had to pick up an extra one weeks worth when I got changed from some of my meds monthly, to all of them every two weeks. I hate it when this happens and everything gets thrown out of whack.
Might go pick up a bottle of codeine linctus later. Many pharmacies no longer carry it, I only know two that do. Found a place that does the flavour that goes great with cheap tesco own brand lime soda, with a splash of vodka it makes quite a tasty cocktail:D
On a xylometazoline nasal spray also, as tizanidine gives me nasal congestion. A small price to pay for preventing overloading though, and its FAR better than benzos (as well as not being dependence forming) in making me sleep. Didn't work tonight though, sometimes I get nights/days where I just can't sleep, no matter what I try. Couldn't get into a comfortable position either, with my back pain and my hip.
Hopefully the pain clinic, when I see them, will be able to find the right combination of pain meds for me...and do the steroid shot I want for my hip, as its getting no better. Pain meds just cover it up a bit, but hopefully a corticosteroid shot might bring down the inflammation there.
Need to see him about the wrist-drop and partial paralysis of my hand too. I need a wrist-brace but can't find any. Ick...I hate needles though, I can IV/IM thanks to practise, but I have a thing about other people doing it. Can't inject my own hip though, wouldn't even try.
Valproate? ick. Just make sure you don't have any kids on it Ren, valproate is really teratogenic stuff.
I've been on lorazepam before myself. Found its quick onset good, but it was too short acting, and no better at keeping me asleep than any of the others. Benzos I get currently are loprazolam and nitrazepam. The nitrazepam is ok though for a benzo, loprazolam takes several hours though to reach peak plasma levels. When I decided to come off the lorazepam, as I found it wasn't worth the cost of being physically dependent that was hell, ended up in the ER, even tapering, and the day after coming out, had a temporal lobe seizure.
I hate seizures, they suck. Valproate would be an absolute last choice for me personally though. Don't think its used for myoclonus much. It can be, as its quite a broad spectrum anticonvulsant, but I find 'racetams work well for me there. Lower-end dose ranges of many opiates suppress it very well, but at higher doses they seem to actually cause it. Other than tramadol, which I hate anyway. Horrid stuff.
I need to get more pramiracetam. I wish it wasn't so damn expensive.
I'm about to take a small amount of nicotine solution also, after I finish my pipe.

Well lamotrigine is my first choice but it is so expensive here. Plus the effects wore off after a couple of years on it. I was getting loads of headaches and mood swings and so decided to go back on the valproate. I don't plan on having kids so no concern there.

Nor do I. Actually I may never even date again, after losing the love of my life. Only chance I am ever likely to date again is if I could track down, and have some luck with my classically autie ex fiancee. (been engaged twice, once to her and once to an aspie.)
