Pappy broke the rules.

It's probably exaggerated by the way that photos are reshaped when you load them as avatars. But his palms appear to be significantly narrower than they are wide. That is one of the "tells" when you are in Asia and you are trying to figure out if your new girlfriend was born a dude, as guys tend to have square palms and girls who were born girls tend to have hands that are narrower than they are long. Marcus Mariota, despite being a professional athlete who could kick my oversized butt in about 3 seconds, has the bone structure of a chick.

I think it's just the way the jpeg got resized.

Marcus Mariota was the 1st Hawaiian to win the Heisman Trophy so he's ethnically a Pacific Islander.

Here's another pic of him and his hands look more normal.

Your avatar rates as a 1. The words are illegible. It would rate slightly higher than 1 if it were only illegible, but the fact I've explained how to fix it makes it rank even lower than it would without that input. Defiantly illegible. It also moves; animated avatars are distracting, so would probably still score it fairly low even if it were legible.

Photos of football players throwing the ball usually creep me out. The shoulder pads make the arm look deformed, as if they have an extra elbow in their forearm or something. Whenever seeing photos like that, can't help but think, the human arm doesn't do that. *shudder*

The only animated avatar that I have seen people respond positively to seeing was one Duncvis once had making fun of a couple who probably deserved each other.

It was two dogs fucking and the male immediately pulls out and vomits. It was epic in so many ways, although disgusting.

Renaeden has always been into gears and such.

Every time I see that old Lionsgate movie logo, I think of her. They have another one that explores the inside of some wild lock and key thing, too.

Yes, Renaeden  -  you come into my thoughts again when I see that, too.

Sorry, Genesis, but I do not know what your avatar is about. I see the sign, but the faces   ...  ?

Your siggy image is very disturbing to me. I had a rescue cat once that had been de-clawed (PLEASE, never do this to a cat!!!!) and had horrible bone growths inside her toes and had to have one of her paws removed. She was obviously no longer a cat. She developed the same growths in her remaining three paws and quit with life. I had to put her down. Hence, yours is a disturbing image for me.
She was not even white, but a fairly large Calico. When she started hiding in dark places and had given up on trying to walk on her own, I felt terrible for her. I had to do it. I probably should not have allowed it to go for as long as I did. I was always hoping she would get better, but then she started to find quiet places to die on her own.

I had another cat who was also a rescue, but he had been de-clawed in the front only. He never suffered this kind of torture. He lived a long life. BUt I still insist that de-clawing a cat is a kind of abuse that should never happen.

RANT OVER, somewhat.

I can not "prove" that explanations exist without going back through her early posts. I remember her from her early days when she "claimed" to be NT and was not sure she would be welcome here.
I also remember her talking about how she has always been intrigued by mechanical movement.

How about I allow her to explain it all to you, since you are so fucking new and all.

Who are you anyway and why would you presume to talk to me? I am not sure I am up for another new person so soon after all the others.

DirtDawg's avatar is interesting, but never understood how it relates to the person. It also implies he is female.

You just do not know very much about me.
I made a "pact" with myself that coming here was going to be my last forum home. (Now, understand I also post on the DIY Audio site, Steve Hoffmann's music site, AVS Home theater site and a few other musician fan based sites, but I have gone straight - I keep it honest on all those sites, although, where entertaining, I sometimes troll others on those sites - I use my same name as here, except for the Hoffmann site where DD was taken twelve times over, so I gave that up).

I have never pretended to be female. Not sure my butch behavior could pull that off very well, anyway.
I have told everything about how I got here and a helluva lot about what has happened since I found this place. I have done all I can.

I like Jack's silver jack. The only time I've seen jacks played was on an American tv show when I was a kid. Marbles are more commonly played here.

DirtDawg - I don't agree with cats being declawed either. It's against the law to do it in Australia. I once got angry with someone on Facebook who said they were going to get their cat declawed because it had scratched the carpet. Yet the owner had nothing like a scratching post for the cat to scratch in the first place. Stupid idiot.

I've always liked the look of gears. My first avatar on WP was of rotating gears. I didn't realise that people might not like a moving avatar - when I did, I changed it.

When I first started posting here, I think a couple of people referred to this as being an aspie site. I said I'm not aspie and then cleared it up later by saying that I was dxed as HFA. Just semantics I guess.

My sister used to play jacks at school. That was nearly 50 years ago. They used plastic versions of a knuckle bone. I didn't know there was such a thing as metal jacks until I googled it just now.

I do not think that Odeon is Finnish, but I could be wrong. He posts as if he is living in Sweden and traveling for work interests. I believe him.

Many of us have ancestry from various parts of the globe.

I have always loved Odeon's Avatar of John Lennon counting his greenbacks, the country who deported him in disgrace, while Mr. Lennon got the last laugh.

After looking again at his avatar, I remembered that I have a really cool Apache hand made beady necklace thingy that I need to dig out and wear to the Joe B. concert next month.
I seldom wear beading or necklaces, because they make me feel hot - so in winter a good thing?

See, that is the essence of the problems people have trying to tame and domesticate a cat. They have their ways and their instincts can not be ignored. They need high places to overlook, they have to keep their claws deadly sharp, they go by scent to identify food, play things, friends and dangers.

They are highly intelligent and "scary smart" (no way to put it, like how my cat can tell time and always wakes me up two minutes before the alarm goes off - dead serious!) in ways that make no sense.
My cat always brings me something when I am sick or have irritated my old back injury. She is an indoor cat, so it is often a toy, but our last cat was a hunter. Spent most of his time outside. Cats often bring live prey when you get sick. Most people think this kind of crap just sucks and hate cats for this reason, but that behavior is your cat caring for you.

One time my wife and I were both bedridden with a terrible flu. The cat had his own door, and one afternoon he brought us two live birds in his mouth. Can you imagine what he went through to capture ONE bird and keep it alive to bring home to us - BUT NO, this awesome beast managed to capture TWO birds, keeping them both alive in his fang filled jaws, one for each of us. Cats are amazing!

They can see in darkness twenty times less light than we can, then being able to see farther into both ends of the spectrum well beyond what we can see. Hearing over three octaves above ours, little "whisker like" sensors all over their bodies to sense air movement and super low frequencies. Lots more!

They also can understand dozens of words, once you get to know each other.
Cats can be amazing but you have to give them a bit of what they need to keep them "happy."  Then to be a successful owner/keeper/guardian, you have to learn a bit about how cat love manifests. Then accept that love or you are not a cat person.

Fucking get them some high places and a scratchy place.  NEVER remove their claws.
