This is a bizarre thing thats in front of a house on my way to work.  At night it lights up

What is that yellow thing?

Is it a sculpture of some sort?

Are those Christmas lights wrapped around it?

It's translucent yellow plastic chunks it looks like ice or glass I don't know if it's there all year or if it's left over Xmas lights.  At night it glows from within I'll try and remember to take a photo Monday night on my way home.

Looks like a Horta was out for a night on the piss and on the way home yakked over the street sign post.

The tree next to it looks strange too, maybe the radiation is stunting the tree's growth.
I think it is from outer space (the yellow thing, not the tree).
It could be some sort of disguised recording system like an advanced form of CCTV for the aliens.

I think the tree is from outer space as well. I mean why cant there be a race of space faring trees?

Maybe its a picture of the space alien tree installing a listening device.
