Talk about things going really wrong...

KOKOMO, Ind. - Police say a man accidentally shot himself in the groin as he was robbing a convenience store. A clerk told police a man carrying a semiautomatic handgun entered the Village Pantry Tuesday morning demanding cash and a pack of cigarettes.
The clerk put the cash in a bag and as she turned to get the cigarettes, she heard the gun discharge.
Police say surveillance video shows the man shooting himself as he placed the gun in the waistband of his pants. The clerk wasn't injured.
A short time later, police found Derrick Kosch, 25, at a home with a gunshot wound to his right testicle and lower left leg. He was expected to have surgery at a hospital.
Police plan to charge him with armed robbery.
Ha Ha I wish this sort thing happened more often :laugh:

cops had assault rifles - and directed traffic
by waving them at you.
(I mean real assault rifles - not the shit that
is being attacked here which isn't even full
auto)

I know! I saw that in Spain, too. But thank God no one waved them around. Still a disconcerting sight to see a guy with one hanging around outside the bank. I was on my best behavior.

On the way to Xcaret I saw Police with assault rifles. Mexican police are fucked up from what I hear.

They were on the road to Xcaret and stopped vehicles at a checkpoint of sorts. We didn't get into eating habits, the guide talked to them. It is basically the Mexican Military. They do have police as well in the city that are like the military with assault rifles, but most of the police are really not much of a factor once you go to bars and other places. You sure as hell don't see many of them in Cancun, or once you are actually at Xcaret for that matter.

There was a guy in my dirty porn magazine who was playing with a nail gun at work and shot himself in the head by accident. He decompressed it and unloaded the nail clip, but apparently there was still enough power, and went in his skull. He didn't die.

I know lots of people how have been nailed by them even I have come close
