did his bitch take away his internet? whats the story
-
He's taking a break.
-
even better! the internet got to him
-
no he just wants his life back.
-
your tentacles of doom can't reach him.
-
He is playing hookie.
-
Are you sure the Mexican truck drivers didn't kidnap him :P
-
oh, the delicious irony if they had.
-
Why does he keep changing his name and avatar anyway? I think he should have kept the "McFuck Yeah" avatar.
-
I spent a lot of time watching that avatar.
-
me too.
-
I'd seen it before somewhere. I think it has something to do with the Flaming Lips.
-
Makes you want to just say "Fuck yeah!" over and over again. :) Kind of like getting a song stuck in your head.
Flaming Lips? I just figured he'd made an animated GIF from three seconds of a J-pop video.
-
Its a clip from Lazy Town, taken off this ytmnd page: http://lazytownfuckyeah.ytmnsfw.com/ (slow loading today. meh)
-
I wanted to see what the story was behind the "Fuck Yeah!" clip, so I went through Google and found the Lazy Town website, and found that I got it all wrong.
When I first saw that clip, I assumed that it was just a random j-pop video or something. The girl in the video looks Asian at first glance, and I just assumed she was perhaps a Japanese actress in her early to mid twenties. Wrong! Lazy Town is a kids' show, and the pink-haired character is a little girl. I had never heard of this Lazy Town, so I assume it's better known in Iceland and the UK. At first glance, I was hoping maybe it's in the same spirit as Crapston Villas (a clay-animation series about the residents of a London slum, available through Troma), but wrong on that, too. Looks like it's all family-friendly and nice, perhaps in the same spirit as Punky Brewster or whatever they've got on Nickelodeon.
All that just makes it even more hilarious. I figure the people who dreamed up and made Lazy Town probably never imagined somebody would swipe a three-second clip and turn it into something to imply that their (adorable, innocent, sweet, role-model) character might have the vocabulary of a sailor and be quite happy to utter a choice phrase while dancing about and grinning ear-to-ear.
:green:
-
i like Troma. have you seen Tromeo and Juliet?
-
Haven't seen Tromeo and Juliet. I like Troma and have several Troma DVDs, so maybe one of these days I'll get around to adding Tromeo and Juliet to the collection.
I've met Lloyd Kaufmann (director, Troma) on several occasions, including an hour lecture he gave at DragonCon last year.
Gotta go...
-
neato, indeedo! :)
-
Haven't seen richard or Nomaken online lately, either.
-
Nomaken has been a little scarce since Peter had a sex dream about him. Maybe it just a coincidence, though.

We'll leave that in the air,

I leave Nick at Nite on (Fresh Prince of Bel-Air has been on, and I watch it before I sleep), and one time I was awake until early morning and Lazy Town came on on Nick Jr.

That makes perfect sense to me. She watches Fresh Prince of Bel Air on Nick at Nite before she sleeps, then she leaves the TV on that channel.
One night she was awake until early morning and she saw Lazy Town on that same channel, which is called Nick Jr. and shows children's programming in the morning.

Good point. Didn't really think about the mass bannings.
I kind of miss them both, but not enough to go over there. WP is bad for my mental health and it makes me hate people in general that much more.

I was hoping she would kick me in the shins. I'd have more respect for her that way, instead of everyone else trying to defend her.

i'm frunk. drunk.

i am. i almost freaked out at the store and went for the booze solution. it was a mistake.

I'd taken a bit of a break as well. I was just getting out of control spending too much time on the net, so I totally understand.

Good to see you again, Janicka. :)

I was not trying to defend her. Instead, I was appealing to your senses of chivalry and personal responsibility for your actions. I don't believe she needs any of that defending stuff, in this case.
Expect a decent kick, if she ever sees your post calling her "ginseng addled" or what ever it was.

I figure that Scrapheap must have been really drunk to not be able to understand what Carla wrote and also I wondered whether he was confusing her with Randy because Carla doesn't take ginseng, as far as I know.

You can out drink me in a shitsplat. I think you already know this.
It still worries some of us that you are overloading yourself, in real life. That can't be good.

physical mental emotional or vegetable?
-
Physical. 'Tis hard for this old body to do
the impossible.
-
yoga might help with
sucking selfcock
-
I'm sure I could still manage that.
The dancing is the unreal.
-
dancing in the ruins
-
All that's left, for some of us.
-
i'd like to dance at the ruins
were i good on my feet and not falling down.
-
Have you ever tried?
'Twas pure magik for me,
from the very first time.
-
dancing makes me dizzy
and i feel like falling down
it's an ear thing, balance
something wrong with my ear.
-
Dancing reminds me of how many people are in the club invading my personal space, then I start to think about spraying the place down with gunfire.
-
lol. try valium.
-
Makes me blackout. I really am unaware of most
of it. Especially with the lights and noise. Total sensory
overload into an ultimate high.
-
lol. try valium.
I have had colonopins many times, well others as well. Xanax is more powerful with the bars that are going around these days (xanax + alcohol can be crucial). That and no pill dealer I know around here sells valium, asked about it 2 days ago actually (along with some other drugs of interest to me). Xanax does help with crowds. When I am really drunk I don't dance very well, as I am more likely to bump into other people and act like a total ass (also fall down).
-
i also get sensory overload at clubs and things, feel like almost passing out or going crazy. one club i could stand being at for a few minutes and had to leave as the noise made me feel like dying. the crowd was humming like a high voltage fence in a dinopark and the music was superloud. it was like swimming in pain and agony.
though once a miraculous thing happened and i could enjoy the loud music and stuff, though it was quieter than at the hell club mentioned above. i had drunk some which helped. but i'd be afraid of trying it again. might not be so lucky.
-

Hah! Yeah, I'm often JUST shy of falling, with some of the moves I
do. I've accidentally headbutted a couple of people too. As to acting
like an ass, I was flipping off the whole damned crowd for a few weeks.
There were complaints, so I stopped, but then some people whined to
me that I wasn't doing it anymore.
-
i just get tired of trying to not fall or run into things. it's the legs. the rest of me can dance fine.
-
My legs are what is most safe.
In fact, I think I have BETTER
balance drunk (though I may just
think that).
-
alcohol relaxes me and makes me better in moving around or dancing,
sober i'm the tasmanian devil
-
When I am smashed I am going to trip over people, step on their feet and all sorts of annoying shit. I don't dance extremely well when I am sober either, but it isn't that bad. When drunk I am more apt to try more over the top stuff, but I usually end up feeling like crap the next day. Last thing I want is to be considered the town drunk, the guy who everyone laughs at. I have gotten dangerously close to that a couple of times with my behaviour. Flipping people off, I do that when I am not even smashed. Me and my friend Matt drive down 1st street at the beaches with Death/Black Metal blaring... yelling out all sorts of shit to people that are walking the streets. He can do that as he has bounced at 3 of the bars on that strip anyways. People look at us as if we are insane, fun stuff.
-
Yeah. Pretty sure the flipping off came out of
just watching all these pathetic creatures TRYING
to dance. It's best when I have a LOT of space.
-
I used to play soccer, so my legs are more coordinated than the average person actually when I am not drunk. The footwork problems only happen when I am totally shitfaced. Though the thing is that I drink to get really drunk, not for taste and a little buzz. I can't be around that many people and not be fucked up it seems. I want to leave immediately if I am sober. I don't even walk on the dancefloor when totally sober unless I am dragged onto it unwillingly by someone else (usually the people who badgered me into going to the club in the first place).
-
yes same here. i have to drunk and dragged to go to a club. once hammered well and truly i sometimes dance. and then regret it. ::)
-
I rarely START drunk. But, it dulls the pain,
and makes it easier. Plus, when my emotions
are all fucked up, I drink more.
-

Alcohol isn't worth the cost in the clubs/bars (though I always buy a couple in there). I usually hammer down a few shots in the parking lot to get started. I call it the pre-party. Seems I like to get a running start before everyone else usually. Always has been more efficient for me.
-
yeah i also drink before going to a club. they put a smidgeon of alcohol in the cocktails. the rest is fucking juice. ideal would be to carry a vodka bottle with a nozzle and pour it in your drink secretly.
-
I have a couple martinis before heading
out, but it's about an hour hike, so that
mainly wears off. The bartender's treat
me well (I tip well), so although 'tis not
like gulping at home, it's pretty heavy -
about 6 shots for $4.
-

I know a few bartenders at the bars I go to at times, they are pretty good about hooking me up. Even better since a few of my friends have worked as barbacks and bouncers. I don't get watered down drinks.
I carry a flask into NFL games though. That is a fucking ripoff there, better off pouring the liquor into the drinks myself.
6 shots for 4 bucks is fair usually. I tip well myself, but I never have walked more than 5 minutes drunk. I don't drive either, sleep on a friend's couch. That is when I actually go to a club/bar. House parties are more welcome these days.
-
4 bucks is dirt cheap for even one drink. last time i was at a club the drinks were about 5 to 7 euro a piece. plus the cover charge is like 7 euro. and then they water them down. so yeah, rather bring my own.
-
I don't get charged cover.
-
of course not. ;D
bastard. :P

Its always said to me and never spelled out. So the proper spelling is Klonopin. The jackasses around here pronounce it like colonopin lol.
