why is it what once would have been considered a MAJOR city is now a little town?
Let's stop trying to pretend that we even have villages and towns any longer. :tantrum:
We still have villages- its where all the yuppies live.
No. They tend to live in some sprawling monstrosity of what WAS ONCE
a village, but is now moderately populated for some huge distance.
There are still rural villages - a few hundred people. But they're getting
rarer and rarer.
In the UK do- my kids go to a small village school (so small they have to have mixed year group classes) but we couldn't afford to buy a house there because the yuppies have priced normal people out of the market. This village has a population of around 3000- comparatively speaking that's pretty small.
Still, think of what villages used to mean.
We've got way too many humans on
this planet. It's time to start offing
ourselves, en mass.

I'd guess that a well-engineered plague could do pretty well,
without harming other species as much. But hell, why limit

See, I have no philosophical objection to being the
first to go - I just worry that no one would follow
through, if I were. The might of the Computer God
must be felt, and if I cannot get at it and reconfigure
it's coding, then maybe things won't work out right.

Conservative Christians are at worst annoying, even the most extreme are still laughable, I doubt seriously they have the capacity to introduce a Christian theocracy, although that is damn near impossible. Watch a documentary Jesus Camp it is about a pastor in the USA brainwashing kids into 'militant' Christianity, what is the worst they could do when they grow up, make some protests. Apart from the occasional murder of homosexuals and bombing of abortion clinics, even fundamentalist Christians do not hold a candle to what Islamists (who make up a sizable section of the Muslim community) do.

You can not divide it by race 90% of the world needs to be killed, first we need to come up with a reel system to chose and, you could not get a perfect system

Get rid of the celebrities who are famous just because they are rolling in money. They are no good to anyone with intelligence.
