Title: The Nazi's are coming to my town
Post by: ASpHole on April 18, 2007, 08:52:24 PM
Read about it here: http://www.thestate.com/154/story/39056.html (http://www.thestate.com/154/story/39056.html)

I'd go to protest them, however I'd probably be mistaken for one of them as my hair is a #1 crop.  (evenly cut at an eighth of an inch)

Wear a backwards Swastika. It was done durring WW II as a protest. See if anyone has the brains to catch on.

Well at least their minds are stuck in the 1930s rather than the 1860s.

Is that a dig at me?

I don't think so. South Carolina I believe is the only former Confederate state that has the nerve to continue flying the Civil war era Confederate battle flag albeit off of the State Capital building's dome. It came off the dome in the year 2000 after a protest that can only be described as looking like something out of the movie 'Gone With The Wind'. Flag supporters say that it celebrates their 'Heritage'.

I say that it's akin to Germany flying the Prussian battle flag on the grounds of the Bundestag, or the Orange Order flying their flag at Storemont in Northern Ireland, both on the grounds of 'Heritage'. --It needs to come down permanantly.

Wow.  I wonder how many protesters there will be.

Hopefully quite a few, plus several hundred cops in full riotgear, with SWAT teams on rooftops in sniper/observer positions, all of the cops being there to ensure that order is kept, and let the maybe five or ten Nazi assholes who show up have the right to exercise their freedom of speach unmolested.  :-\

I just figured since I'm often reliving the ACW, claim to be a copperhead, and such. But, there's not a lot of reason he'd have for knowing that.

I say that it's akin to Germany flying the Prussian battle flag on the grounds of the Bundestag...

That could be fun too.

There was a girl in my hometown who wore a Swastika with a red mark over it, as in a traffic sign with "forbidden". She was prosecuted for hate crime(!), though she was freed by the court.  ::)

They actually liberalized the gun laws in Germany, despite what often is said, but only for "good Germans".  :P

But the parade is tomorrow and Adolf's birthday is today.

Quote
A first reading of the the Nazi Weapons Law of 1938 might suggest that it effectively lessened handgun control and other restrictions from what they were under the Law on Firearms and Ammunition of 1928. Firearms ownership was restricted to, "...persons whose trustworthiness is not in question and who can show a need for a (gun) permit". Some view this language as excluding only criminals and persons under the age of eighteen from ownership. One writer has claimed that the Nazi Weapons Law of 1938 effectively liberalized firearms ownership in Nazi Germany. [1]

Analyzing the Nazi Weapons Law using principles of the Nazi legal system, however, shows that any apparent "liberalizing" of the gun ownership restrictions operated to enable Nazi police, military and other pro-Nazi personnel to obtain and possess firearms

And mine is the day after. Guess one day shouldn't matter, but I feel that I'm so close to being dangerous.
