The sun is rising in Europe now...... the only people on from there are likely lifeless trolls. ::) :-*
-
Yes, our guests are mostly search engine bots at the moment, but we have one real guest. :o
-
I was actually up at 5:20 AM, but I was too tired to post anything. Who was the guest?

It was a mystery guest. 8)

:o
-
It looked like our guest might have been from Europe. ;D
-
That's scary. Might have been Dr NT or someone. :P
-
Maybe Doctor Demento.
-
There was also a registered member from the British Isles who was on all though the night into the light of dawn.
Such a person obviously has no life...................... or job. ;D

Did he post anything, then? You can stay logged in as long as you want by simply not turning off the computer.

I don't think that is quite correct. It logs you out after a long enough period of inactivity. I think it is after 15 minutes, if you don't do anything.
-
Odeon said that you can set your browser so that it updates every 15 minute and avoids that, but I haven't tried that yet.
-
I think Nomaken was having his browser update the page even more often. That is why it appears that he has spent so much time here.
-
RTFM
It's all there, in the help file. :)
-
I'm not even sure that I can find the help file without help. :-[ But I don't want to cheat for getting more time on Intensity anyway. 8)
-
It is cheating, and it is wasting bandwidth.
-
Every cheater should be blown up! :arrr: :explode: 8)
-
I'm here all the time anyway. How could I cheat? Log in twice?
-
No, you're automatically logged out every 15th minute, unless you post something. But there are jerks like Nomaken, that cheat by programming their browsers to update more than every 15th minute, no matter if they post ot not.

You could just open another page, also, and the cookie exchange would happen again. How do you know Nomaken is cheating? It seems like a very asinine thing to cheat on, anyway. Who cares about time spent here and why?
-
Odeon says he does, and he seems to be pretty good on these things.

Nomaken actually admitted it, but he did this some time ago. It was not just every 15 minutes, though. It was much more frequently than that. He kept refreshing the Who is Online page because he wanted to see who was looking at what and posting where in case he wanted to respond.

Um, I didn't. He did.
