Did you by any chance catch the fight between Tito Ortiz and Chuck Lidell??

i used to watch smackdown religiously.
but i quit when the rock became a movie star.

Yes, I'm talking about the Light Heavyweight (205lb) title match between Tito "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" Ortiz and Chuck "The Iceman" Lidell. Chuck (from San Louis Obispo) won the match by TKO in the second round, but I did'nt get to see the fight because it was pay-per-view only.

I have seen this tournament advertised on some small dvd catalogue that came with one of my Grapper Baki volumes -- where most of the fighting in the series takes place inside some underground Japanese tournament.

That isn't the UFC then.... UFC is pretty big AND expensive. Cheap tickets are about $200. Lots of celebrities go to UFC fights. Most of them are held in large arena venues.

You should watch some of the better fights. When you have 2 closely matched guys with contrasting fighting styles, those are the best fights to watch. :boxers:

UFC is watched by disrespectful drunken yankees like you. Pride in Japan pwns it in just about every way imaginable like i pwn you and is watched by knowlegable fight-fans like me, but UFC is ok too.

If you miss anything you can usually find the fight posted on youtube or google videos. There is also a foreign language site where they post the entire UFC after it airs for free, but I forgot where it was.
Now that Crocop and Rampage are in the UFC, there's gonna finally be some competition.
Did you see Sylvia get owned by Randy Couture? I want to see Couture/Crocop, although Randy will probably get killed.

What was surprising was that Randy was owning him in the stand up game! He took all five rounds easily in a decision.
