Submitted by Big Monocle in 2016, Password Day is meant to create awareness of the need for good password security.

May Ray Day? :-\

May Ray Day is for getting outside, soaking up the sun's rays, and celebrating the warmer weather. May is the last full month of spring, meaning that it is starting to warm up pretty nicely, but it's not yet so scorching hot that you can't bear to be outside. Being in the sun can be both good and bad for your health. In addition to being a day to be outside, the day is for celebrating anyone named Ray. The idea for the day was thought up by Richard Ankli, in honor of his brother Ray, who was born on May 19. Ankli's idea was turned into a day by the Broadway Fun Spot in St. Joseph, Michigan, in 1977.
May Ray Day is being observed today! It has been observed annually on May 19th since 1977.
Celebrate the day by going outside and enjoying the sun and warmer weather. Go for a hike, jog, or bike ride. Have a picnic, do some yard work, or just lay in the sun. As long as you take in some sun you are celebrating properly, so hopefully, it is very sunny today. You could also wish anyone that you know named Ray a "Happy Ray Day."

World UFO Day is an awareness day for people to gather together and watch the skies for unidentified flying objects. The day is celebrated by some on June 24, and others on July 2. June 24 is the date that aviator Kenneth Arnold reported what is generally considered to be the first widely reported unidentified flying object sighting in the United States, while July 2 commemorates the supposed UFO crash in the 1947 Roswell UFO Incident.
The stated goal of the July 2 celebration is to raise awareness of "the undoubted existence of UFOs" and to encourage governments to declassify their files on UFO sightings.
