Charles Manson, the wild-eyed 1960s cult leader whose followers committed heinous murders that terrorized Los Angeles and shocked the nation, died Sunday of natural causes, according to the California Department of Corrections. He was 83.

Good riddance. He's taken up enough room in our collective consciousness.
Edited for typo. :P
-
Shame he died of natural causes.
-
His last album was crap.
-
Album? never struck me as the musician type.
Only one I can think of in such a situation (locked up and compiling albums from inside) is Varg, of Burzum, the infamous church-burner and general sick fucking pup.

Maybe I'm thinking of someone else.

Quite definitely different.
Your thinking of marilyn manson, the musician, charles manson on the other hand was a serial killer/cult leader.
Never knew the latter had any musical efforts. The former is pretty well known.

Ahhh. CHARLES Manson.

Album? never struck me as the musician type.
Before the murders, Manson was a singer/songwriter, though his music was only produced after his conviction.

Meh. Stop intruding on our fun with your facts.
This thread is a hoot, thanks to FAD and his "innocent" mistakes.
:plus: to FAD.

Aaargh. I very nearly plussed Jack too, cos I really do like facts (I was just being frivolous... or hypocritical, if ya like :green:)
Then i recalled that plussing jack is a sure-fire way to annoy her. So...it will just have to be a virtual plus that won't disturb the perfect equilibrium of her karma :meditate: :plus:

Might check the music out later when I'm finished re-setting-up this machine, after I had to nuke it last night when some malware got past the virus scanner, or rather it was detected but the damn thing couldn't kill it.
But I have a hunch I'll prefer marilyn manson. Always have liked his stuff. Especially some of the older albums, like 'coma white' and 'antichrist superstar'
-
Can't say I much care for either one.
-
The albums (marilyn manson) or marilyn/charles manson?
-
The albums (marilyn manson) or marilyn/charles manson?
Their music. I think Marilyn Manson seems like a very nice person but I don't care for his music.
And Charles Manson... Well, no.

Charles Manson was brilliant in "Death Wish".

If hell exists let's just hope he's getting pitchforks shoved up his arse right about now. :asthing:

Good riddance. He's taken up enough room in our collective comsciousness.
He was just misunderstood. :emosad:

In the 90's Guns and Roses experienced some backlash for covering one of his songs and inserting it as a hidden track in one of their albums.
