Yes, that drives me up the fucking wall backwards ass-first. One of the reasons I support her. She has gotten a raw deal from the 'indie" market enthusiast, which is where her roots are grounded. She hasn't turned her back on them - they have turned their backs on her!

Don't most musical artists with any hint of sex appeal try use it to their advantage though? That's one of the problems with the alternative scene once an artist becomes less alternative (not because they've changed but because they have some success) they're not 'different' enough for certain people to admit to still liking. Its not really about the music its about an image.
