Title: Video editing
Post by: Lestat on March 25, 2017, 08:38:25 AM
Before anyone suggests it, I don't have photoshop, so whatever tool I use needs either be free or be easily findable and piratable.

I need some sort of software for splicing video clips together to make one longer one.

anybody suggest something? formats usable are .mov .mp4 and .avi for what I have in mind,

First off what operating system do you use?

Secondly, do you already have a way to contain these clips?

Because the best way to find clips you're wanting to find would be on YouTube using a converter known as yonverter.

The options for downloading the clips include .mp4

The best would be Adobe Premiere, or any of the Vegas programs. Final Cut Pro is good, as well as the editing software on the latest Mac models (If you have an apple computer that is).

Also heres the link to yonverter: http://www.yonverter.com/

I've already done the clips, its my own work, its just that I had to film it in segments, because of the constraints on my camera's memory card, just need some free program to edit it to create one long video from its parts.

And this is a windows machine. Clips are in .MP4 format, but there are .avi versions created whilst stripping out metadata as well.

Try looking up free editing software on Google.

Found something eventually. Now I just need somewhere to host the thing, since its rather large (just under 82MB as .mp4)

Have you tried YouTube or Vimeo?

Can't do a youtube one, the fucking bastards demand a phone number to confirm accounts. Could get a throwaway I suppose and sell it on at cost after the one txt. Or anyone know of any net site that can set up a virtual dead drop phone number that can receive texts? Because I am NEVER going to trust those google scumbags. Its too trackable, to give my own phone. Especially to a bunch of bloodsucking slime like google.
