Title: Starsigns!
Post by: Graelwyn on January 11, 2007, 09:58:51 PM
Whether you believe them or not, I am curious about what starsign people are and whether they fit the supposed descriptions of said starsign...moonsigns would be nice too, but most don't know theirs... with DOB I can easily look these up. Astrology is one of my on/off consuming interests.

I am Taurus with a pisces moon anyways.

I am a Virgo with a Taurus ascendant and my moon is in Aquarius.

I think some of the Virgo characteristics apply to me but others do not.  However, QuirkyCarla was able to accurately guess my sun sign, so I must possess more of them than I think.  I think much of what was written about the Taurus ascendant applies to me as well:  You are very calm and deliberate in your actions. You don't like to move too quickly or act hastily.  Sometimes you are quite stubborn, and the more that someone applies pressure, the more firmly you resist.  Outwardly, you appear quite calm and self-possessed. It is not that you suppress your feelings, but that your exterior does not reveal them very readily.

This simply applies to most Aspies. Science, not astrologly makes sense in this case.

I'm a Virgo... What are Virgo's supposed to be like??

From http://www.astrologychartsonline.com/Virgo.htm

Virgo, symbolized by the Virgin, is a Mutable Earth sign.  Ruled by Mercury, Virgos have an analytical, agile, discriminating mind and are adept communicators.  They are industrious, methodical, efficient, and sticklers for detail – great organizers.  They strive for perfection in everything they do, which, taken to the extreme, can make them obsessive and overly critical, especially of themselves.  They also tend to be worriers.  An Earth sign, Virgos are practical, reliable, sensible, down-to-earth.

As you read your short report, or any other astrological report, keep in mind that the energies interpreted here are your birth potentials. However, you may or may not choose to actualize these energies in the manner described. Your age, sex, socio-economic situation, education, environment, level of development, and many other factors contribute to the ways in which you express your natal energies. Remember, the planets do not compel you to do or be anything. They influence you, but you still have the free will to determine your own life.

The report was generated with the following birth data: male, born on 17 July 1969 at 2:07 pm in Long Beach, California.

Your sun sign is Cancer. This is the sign in which the Sun is in your birth chart. Your Ascendant is in Scorpio, and your Moon is in Virgo.

Partner references which may occur in the text are set for a relationship with a woman. Explanation

Sun in Cancer, Moon in Virgo

You were born with the Sun in Cancer and the Moon in Virgo. Internally, you are somewhat timid, reserved, and mistrustful. In fact, at times you may become overly cautious. However, you are naturally receptive and instinctive. Your individuality is fanciful and imaginative. You are very influenced by physical surroundings. Externally you are not much different, except that others view you as a person who is exacting about detail You criticize a great deal, and it is almost an art for you. However, there is no malicious motivation; rather, you want to show your abilities as an analyzer of mankind. You are quite easy-going, but perhaps somewhat irresolute You are basically humanistic and do not like violence.

Ascendant in Scorpio, Mars in the First House

At the time of your birth the zodiacal sign of Scorpio was ascending in the horizon. Its ruler Mars is located in the first house.

Your life will be marked by your shrewd, secretive, obstinate, clever, and reserved disposition. You remain an enigma: with these traits, your life events could be either very tragic or very fortunate. To which category of Scorpio do you belong? There are two types, the extremely emotional, attracted by those pathological aspects of biological relationship, or the highly mystical, concerned with spirituality.

You are a person of extremes, very sensitive and desirous of attachment. There is some attraction to the occult or to psychic phenomena. You are active in the sense that there is a psychological struggle going on inside you between the positive and negative poles-those of affirming and satisfying or rejecting and repressing. You are very intense in your feelings and remain passionately attached to the person you love. Similarly, when you dislike someone you are very fixed in that feeling. However, there is room for optimism in that: whatever type of Scorpio you may happen to be, there exists a desire deep in your inner self for psychic regeneration.

At some point in your life, after the occurrence of a major dramatic event that will affect you deeply, the goal and entire expression of your ego may alter entirely. The intensity and profundity of your passion, however, will always be constant. You have a tendency to go into the shadows and secretly plan the course of action you will take, reluctant to let others know the exact nature of your mood or feelings. In your sexual affairs you are full of passion and strong attachment.

Exert more control over your passions; don't be so resentful of others. Use your strong will and character for favorable and beneficial things.

You have a strong inclination to be involved in medicine, perhaps even surgery. You are attracted by research and investigation in general.

You have an ambitious nature and are always eager for pursuit, whether for constructive or destructive goals. You can be tricky and cunning, passionate, inventive, clever, resentful and astute.

Your disposition is a little deceitful and quarrelsome.

On the positive side, there is a pronounced liability for intellectual research and to conduct yourself effectively in positions of authority.

Saturn in the Seventh House

Saturn was found in seventh house at the time of birth. In your dealings with others, you are going to present a very cautious personality and you will work slowly towards the achievement of security. The environment will be a very restricting factor in your life; the same limitations that hinder your relationships with others will emerge in a narrowness of reception to your ideas and emotions. This indicates that the key to more spiritual and material development lies in your response to the several tests destined for you which consist of patiently enduring difficulties through human relationships.

You should remember that Saturn does not lend a propensity to be demonstrative in an emotional sense. It does, in those individuals with whom you will start a lifelong relationship, give a sense of duty and stability of emotions. Yet you are going to experience some sorrow throughout your life in a relationship. This is mostly going to consist of the several limitations that this state is imposing upon your personal freedom.

The key to a better integration of your existence lies in the ability to view these obstacles and binds with philosophical resignation.

Saturn Opposition Ascendant

Saturn opposition the Ascendant shows that you are defensive in your associations.

You tend to be so preoccupied with your own affairs that you cannot be too concerned with anyone else's. But at the same time you accuse people of being indifferent to you. The truth is, you are so reserved about projecting yourself into their lives that you give the impression you think yourself better than they are. So they keep their distance and are not likely to warm up to you. Although you have a mind of your own, you are never sure you can exploit your ideas and get a favorable response, which you desperately need.

Because you are more competent than most of your competitors, you will never take on a task you can not handle. Until you try, of course, you will not know this. You secretly fear responsibility, but you are more than able to perform your duties and fulfill your obligations, both to yourself and to others.

Venus in the Eighth House

Venus was found in your eighth house at the time of birth. This is a favorable position regarding the possibilities of financial gain through businesses owned by your partner or by associates.

Psychologically, you are going to find many harmonious conditions in your sexual relationships.

If your inner growth is such that your vital energies are oriented toward spiritual rather than material pleasures, then you will arrive at gratification and happiness through inquiry into the mysteries of life and death.

You should have some excellent opportunities for progress in your financial and social condition during your middle age or when you finally stabilize your life through marriage or any other type of close relationship.

Sun in the Ninth House

The Sun was found in the ninth house at the time of birth. This is an indication that your real self possesses an attraction to higher levels of thought. Additionally, this indicates that the most important realizations may come through the process of pure reasoning.

You will tend to grow through the workings of your higher mind where you may find, after much striving, the creative principle and the power of self-expression.

You possess a rather austere mind which is fearless, self-confident and keenly analytical.

Regarding life events, you will be inclined to obtain success in subjects connected with law, religion, and possibly foreign lands.

Moon in the Tenth House

The Moon was found in the tenth house at the time of birth. Among other things, this is an indication of your ability to adjust to varying conditions. Whatever your temperamental qualities may be, destiny will place you in situations where you will have dealings with the public.

Some public note could eventually come your way. Yet you should remember that the Moon successes are rather ethereal and do not maintain a permanent state.

Imagination, a tenacious disposition and ability to relate to the public are among your attributes. Outwardly, you will appear as one who reacts to emotions rather than to reason, yet you attempt a logical rationalization of your impulsive notions. You will better develop your potentialities in any professional circle where your natural inclinations can be reasonably manifested.

Wow, that is an excellent site you linked to, Callaway. My report was eerily accurate; much better than the report I got on astrology.com.

Sun in Capricorn, Moon in Pisces

Your astrological combination indicates a quiet, undemonstrative individual. You are retiring by nature and prefer domestic activities. A somewhat passive person, you require a stronger force or person to move you out of your state of psychological inertia. Much about you is concentrated and inner-directed.

You seek integrity of self. You make a good friend and confidant, for you never reveal a secret that has been told to you. But you don't allow friends and associates to penetrate beneath your outermost mask. You deal well with people in unfortunate positions, because they arouse the compassion inherent in your Moon influence. Under favorable circumstances, your psychic and mystic tendencies could be awakened. The key to a more harmonious existence lies in using your organizing ability to establish a more active life. You possess a high degree of innate ambition and perseverance.

I tried that astro site out--my horoscope was mostly bs. If you spread the descriptions enough, some of it will invariably be about right, especially if you add the power of suggestion. Problem is, they got some of my basic character traits all wrong.

January 26th.

You are a Dog.

From http://chinese.astrology.com/dog.html

In the West, the Dog is man's best friend, but in Chinese Astrology this Sign is a little more unpredictable than that. Dogs are loyal, faithful and honest and always stick to their firm codes of ethics. However, this Sign has trouble trusting others. It's generally quite trustworthy itself -- except for the occasional "little white lies" the Dog tells in order to make things go more smoothly. The Dog makes a wonderful, discreet and loyal friend (despite any white lies) and is an excellent listener. This Sign tends to root for the underdog and its keen sense of right and wrong makes it duty-bound to the core. The Dog's mantra seems to be, Live right, look out for the little people and fight injustice whenever possible.

Dogs can also be rather dogmatic, too. They don't go in for light social banter; instead, they go straight for home, expostulating on the topics that are most important to them. At these times the Dog's narrow-minded or stubborn side can become apparent; this Sign has trouble staying light and calm when an important issue is at stake. This Sign can also be very temperamental; mood swings characterize its emotional life and often the Dog needs to run off to be alone in order to recuperate. Part of the problem is the result of this Sign's load of irrational fears that turn into niggling anxieties that turn into hurt feelings and occasional grouchiness. This sensitive Sign needs to warm up to others over time and gradually learn to trust them. Without that trust as a foundation, Dogs can be judgmental and coarse.

The Dog's discerning nature does make it an excellent business person, one who can turn that picky, guarded nature into a keen sense of the truth of another's motives. Where love is concerned, Dogs often have a tough time finding the right match. They can be so anxious and overwrought in the romance dance that they'll stress their partner to the max! In any forum, this Sign is happiest when able to be quite physically active; at home or at work, the Dog will always be constructing something new or cleaning something up in order to make things better. Dogs need to work on controlling their irrational worries and would also be well-served to relax their mile-high standards, which can sometimes wind up alienating the ones they love.

The most compatible match for a Dog is the Tiger or the Horse.

Cool, will have to have a discussion about it sometime maybe. I have terrible difficulty focussing most of the time.. wonder if I have add or something too

I don't really believe in astrology but about 90% of that is so true about me...

Quote
Timid and attractive, the Rabbits of the Chinese Zodiac tend to act more like bunnies, whether they like it or not! This Sign is extremely popular and has a wide circle of family and friends. Its compassionate nature leads it to be very protective of those it holds dear, but where romance is concerned, the Rabbit's sentimentality can lead it to idealize relationships. The sweet, sensitive Rabbit often ends up giving more of itself to a partner than is realistic or healthy. The good news is, when this Sign goes off-balance, the Rabbit's core group of friends and its stable home life help bring it back to center.

The Rabbit is a rather delicate Sign that needs a solid base in order to thrive. Lacking close, supportive friends and family, the Rabbit might just break down in tears at the first sign of conflict. Emotional upsets in this Sign's life can even lead to physical illnesses. Rabbits dislike arguments and other conflict and will try anything to avoid a fight; this results in something of a pushover nature. Rabbits can also lapse into pessimism and may seem stuck in life -- often to mask their insecure natures. Rabbits tend to move through life's lessons at their own, rather contemplative pace; it's a waste of time to become exasperated with this Sign's seeming disinterest in facing its problems and conquering them.

With the right partner -- meaning someone whose high principles won't allow it to take advantage of this sensitive, giving Sign -- the Rabbit can make an incredibly loving and protective partner or family member. Rabbits love to entertain at home and always make sure their house is comfortable and tastefully-furnished. What Rabbits need most is a stronger sense of self-worth and the security that comes with it. Their discerning natures, coupled with some hard-won assertiveness, will help these happy creatures go far.

The most compatible match for a Rabbit is the Goat or the Pig.

Some fits, but a lot doesn't. As to my starsigns, I seem to be a mix of my sun, moon and ascendant, which are respectively taurus, pisces and ....god knows because I only have a rough idea of my time. The choice for my ascendant is Aries, Pisces or Aquarius. I ruled out Aries, yet, I am naturally impatient and often rushing about..but I have a lot of Aquarian elements too, so I still cannot come to a conclusion on that. Only an expert on the traits might be able to decipher which I am after knowing me a time.

My report with my comments in bold:

The report was generated with the following birth data: male, born on 25 January 1984 at 9:03 am in Glasgow, Scotland.

Your sun sign is Aquarius. This is the sign in which the Sun is in your birth chart. Your Ascendant is also in Aquarius, and your Moon is in Scorpio.

Partner references which may occur in the text are set for a relationship with a woman. Explanation

to top

Sun in Aquarius, Moon in Scorpio

This astrological position indicates a determined nature in full control of itself. Your feelings are likely to be intense, passionate, and lasting. When wronged you do not rest until your desire for revenge has been satisfied (No, I just feel angry for a while and then get bored and lose interest.).

You are worldly and knowledgeable in many areas (Not when it comes to peoplestuff, apparently). You are perhaps too positive and assertive of your will, too self-reliant (Self-reliant?  I'm going on 23 and I live with my mum.). You pursue your aims inexorably, often using others to achieve your ends. (I'm too lazy and my attention span is too short to pursue things inexorably, plus I'm hardly a master manipulator.) You should meet with success in business or professional work, for you remain steady and hard-working (Ha!). Love is a very important matter in your life. But power struggles may arise between you and your love object (More like a vague longing). Your feelings are so intense and your desires so well-aimed that you are likely to become overly demanding. (Doubt it)

The key to a more harmonious self lies in channeling some of your inherent self-control to relaxing your will. You could use your knack for investigating and probing to better understand your motivations and psychological make-up.

to top

Ascendant in Aquarius, Uranus in the Ninth House

At the time of your birth the zodiacal sign of Aquarius was ascending in the horizon. Its ruler Uranus is located in the ninth house.

You were born with a natural disposition to be humane, sympathetic, original and refined in your dealings with others. Among your features is the ability to understand human nature in a sympathetic manner (Accurate enough, but how many people really consider themselves to be inhumane?). Unfortunately, you do not always act upon your intuitions and may become rationalistic at times when swift and prompt determination is required.

The common Aquarian is good and kindly, but usually led astray by eccentric and bizarre companions.

Your tastes are refined and your discrimination keen. You have a natural inclination toward the esoteric and mystical side of life and you could develop some clairvoyant abilities. (I have absolutely no inclination to those things) Basically you are a lover of freedom; (How many people would consider themselves a hater of freedom?) in the realization of this desire you may go to extremes.

Although changeable in appearance (My appearance doesn't change much.), your life is guided by very definite and fixed principles, one of which is a constant demand for personal freedom. In love you are a strange character. You can easily be emotionally attracted to one person and yet unpredictably terminate relationships.

As an inventor you have no rival; your problem is that sometimes you lack the practical ability to implement your creations. Professionally you will be successful in any of the following fields of activity: modern science, electrical work, photography, archaeology, astrology, radio etc. (Perhaps)

A great part of your life is going to be geared to travel abroad. On the intellectual plane you are very gifted and exceptionally clever. Intuition is another of your natural gifts. You very often reach the solution to problems in a dramatically swift manner. You are going to be attracted all through your life by the uncommon; strange and unsubstantiated theories hold a special fascination for you.

to top

Moon in the Eighth House

The Moon was found in your eighth house at the time of birth. Since the Moon has intense qualities of perception, you may find that gradually there is an awakening of interests in sexual matters, psychic and spiritualistic research, and much mental speculation with ideas concerning the possibilities of existence after death. (I speculated as a kid, and concluded that that stuff was all bullshit.)

At some point of your existence there will be possibilities of inheritance through members of the female sex or the maternal side of your family.  (Because nobody else has a mother who'll die at some point?)

to top

Saturn in the Eighth House

Saturn was found in the eighth house at the time of birth. Because of the restraining influence of this planet, matters concerning legacies, inheritance, and the financial dealings of your partner or associates could be severely limited and may be frustrated by what seems to be harsh fate.

Psychologically you are rather serious in connection with sexual affairs. You approach sex with caution, rationality and planning. Excess reason and thought in this direction may create some frustration in sexual matters. (I just go with the flow, and don't attach much meaning to sex usually.)

to top

Venus in the Tenth House

Venus was found in the tenth house at the time of birth.

You will appear as a person who seeks harmony, inclined as you are to observe the aesthetic value of all things in life, to engage in artistic activities and to possess all that is lovely and beautiful. You have sufficient potential to achieve success in life, especially if your occupation is artistic or musical.

Much of your success is a consequence of applied interest and hard work; you posses merit and ability, and your congenial, intelligent manner produces a very exalted image.

In any case, there are very good possibilities for the acquisition of some social distinction, a good reputation and financial success at some period of your life.

to top

Sun in the Twelfth House

The Sun was in your twelfth house at the time of birth. This may indicate a life full of limitations, obstacles, and human opposition, but at the same time a lot of inner strength and energy. (I'm sure nobody else ever struggled with those.)

You are urged to pause and reflect upon your own accumulated history. Take some time for introspection. It may result in a purification process accompanied by some remorse of conscience.

Internally, you are quite different from the way you present yourself externally. You possess a vast reservoir of energy that may be partially hidden even from your own awareness. (Well, that sucks.  All this time and there was a vast reservoir of energy that I didn't know about.  How do I tap it?)

Your internal disposition is strong, commanding, open, and of a rare generosity. More and more you should try to bring these characteristics into the open so that they can overcome some of the less desirable aspects of your personality.

Maybe there's some season factor at work.  Perhaps parents with autism genes are more likely to conceive in April-July for some reason, and/or babies born in late winter/early spring are more likely to develop autistic traits because of vitamin D levels in the mother's milk or something like that.

1986 is the year of the Tiger, but because I was born so early in Feb I'm techinically an Ox.  I took a test once to see what chinese year I should have been born in and came out Ox, much to my surprise.  I always thought I was more tiger.

That would make me an ox too. I just looked it up, and the ox sounds like me.

Yeah, I remember, and agree. There's no known correlation here--I'm reasonably sure that the ASD researchers would have been very quick to note it.

Numerous studies suggest that seasonal birth may play a pathogenic role in the development of mental disorders. A birth excess of 10% during winter and spring has been shown in schizophrenia. The few studies carried out on affective disorders revealed a significant increase of births in the first quarter of the year in bipolar disorders and major depressive disorder. Subjects with seasonal affective disorder show a peak of births in May. Data on personality, eating and 'neurotic' disorders are less consistent. At the moment there are no data in the literature about anxiety disorders.

Quote from: http://www.healthresearchforum.org.uk/reports/ParlMonitor140204.pdf
Several other chronic diseases associated with vitamin D deficiency are unusually common
– in particular schizophrenia, autism, diabetes
and multiple sclerosis. Extensive research on
schizophrenia in immigrants has established
that the higher incidence of the disease in immigrants
is not the result of faulty or prejudiced
diagnosis, nor is it the result of “inherited weakness”
– the disease is no more common in the
general population living in the West Indies than
it is here among whites.
Not just immigrants but most people in the
UK are vulnerable to these diseases because
we exist on such minimal amounts of vitamin D.
Any small event or difference in lifestyle such as
a poor summer, bad weather during the summer
holidays, working on the night shift, or avoidance
of the sun through an exaggerated fear
of skin cancer can reduce our vitamin D level
and make us more vulnerable to any of these
diseases. For example, several studies have
shown that women who work night shifts are
at increased risk of developing breast cancer.
Less sunlight around the time of a baby’s birth
may increase a child’s risk of schizophrenia later
in life according to an Australian study. While
several other studies have shown that people
who develop schizophrenia, multiple sclerosis
or autism are more likely to be born in the winter
or early spring months.

Quote from: http://news.independent.co.uk/uk/health_medical/article74666.ece
The nervous system of the developing baby may be damaged in other ways by vitamin D deficiency. Other diseases which occur more frequently than would be expected in babies born in winter or early spring are autism, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and MS. The cause of these diseases is still being hotly debated by experts but vitamin D deficiency is one theory that is gaining increasing support. Like schizophrenia, these diseases may appear to be more strongly inherited than they really are because family members influence each other in the way they seek or avoid the sun.

This is certainly not the first study to link
particular traits with seasons of birth. Previous
research has suggested the month in which a
person is born can make him or her more prone
to autism, depression, dyslexia and schizophrenia.
It can even increase the chances of
being left-handed.
But why should this be? “There could be several
factors,” said Dr Joinson of the Open
University’s department of Biological Sciences,
whose research was funded by the Leverhulme
Trust. “Characteristics could be shaped by,
say, social surroundings, or temperature, or
nutrition, or whether a mother is prone to infection,
but certainly one credible cause is the
turnover of dopamine in the brain.”
The chemical, which produces sensations of
pleasure and carries messages between the
brain cells, is already known to be associated
with certain conditions – an excess may result
in schizophrenia and a paucity can contribute
to Parkinson’s disease. And interestingly,
dopamine levels have been shown to be
higher in individuals born in winter.
“This has been suggested to be due to the
length of photoperiod (the amount of light in
a 24-hour period) during gestation or
early neonatal development,” says Dr Joinson.
“The link may even go back to the moment of
conception.”

Whether you believe them or not, I am curious about what starsign people are and whether they fit the supposed descriptions of said starsign...moonsigns would be nice too, but most don't know theirs... with DOB I can easily look these up. Astrology is one of my on/off consuming interests.

I am Taurus with a pisces moon anyways.

astrology is one of my special interests, too. I'm a capricorn with a pisces moon.

Cool, will have to have a discussion about it sometime maybe. I am also very interested in numerology, the mayan calendar and such things, although I have not gone into as much depth as I would like to with them. I have terrible difficulty focussing most of the time.. wonder if I have add or something too

I used to study all of this stuff in depth, but not so much anymore. The mayan calendar sounds interesting, too. I've always been fascinated with the Mayans.

OK, but the winter months seem to be the months when most aspies are being born, anyway.

If you expand the definition that much, to include the whole winter, both my kids will be included. My daughter, born in late December, and my son, born in early March are winter babies ... and I'm a late bloomer with spring fever, right now.

Another January Aquarius is Sean. He was born on January 29th.

A lot of aspies are capricorns too. Lucifer's a capricorn, but I don't know if she was born in December or January.

And there's less aspies there than in the northern anglosphere.  Also, I doubt the winters are particularly dark in Calafornia.

Yup, there was a heatwave going on around the time I was born. Temps in the 40s.

Some think that 14th February is a cool birthday to have. I don't.

Sun in Aquarius, Moon in Capricorn • Ascendant in Sagittarius, Jupiter in the Sixth House • Moon in the Second House • Sun in the Fourth House • Venus in the Fifth House • Saturn in the Tenth House

Signs of the Zodiac

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb 18) - You have an inventive mind and are inclined to be progressive. You lie a great deal. You make the same mistakes repeatedly because you are stupid. Everyone thinks you are a jerk.

PISCES (Feb 19-Mar 20) - You have a vivid imagination and often think you are being followed by the FBI or CIA. You have a minor influence on your friends and people resent you for flaunting your power. You lack confidence and are a general loser.

ARIES (Mar21-Apr 20) - You are the pioneer type and think most people are quick-tempered, impatient, and scornful of advice. You are a prick.

TAURUS (Apr 21-May 20) - You are practical and persistent. You have a dogged determination and work like hell. Most people think you are stubborn and bullheaded. You are nothing but a communist.

GEMINI (May 21-Jun 20) - You are a quick and intelligent thinker. People like you because you are bisexual. You are inclined to expect too much for too little. This means you are a cheap bastard. Geminis are notorious for thriving on incest.

CANCER (Jun 21-Jul 22) - You are sympathetic and understanding to other peoples problems, which makes you a sucker. You are always putting things off. That is why you will always be on welfare and won't be worth a penny. Everybody in prison is a Cancer.

LEO (Jul 23-Aug 22) - You consider yourself a born leader. Others think you're an idiot. Most Leos are bullies. You are vain and cannot tolerate honest criticism. Your arrogance is disgusting. Leo people are thieving sods and spend most of their lives kissing mirrors.

VIRGO (Aug 23-Sep 22) - You are the logical type and hate disorder. This nitpicking is sickening to your friends. You are cold and unemotional and often fall asleep while having sex. Virgos make good bus drivers and pimps.

LIBRA (Sep 23-Oct 22) - You are the artistic type and have a difficult time with reality. If you are male, you are probably queer. Chances for employment and monetary gain are nil. Most Libra women are whores. All Libras die of venereal disease.

SCORPIO (Oct 23-Nov 21) - The worst of the lot. You are shrewd in business and cannot be trusted. You shall achieve the pinnacle of success because of your total lack of ethics. You are a perfect S.O.B.. Most Scorpios are murdered.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov 22-Dec 21) - You are optimistic and enthusiastic. You have a reckless tendency to rely on luck since you have no talent. The majority of Sagittarius' are drunks. You are not worth the time of day.

CAPRICORN (Dec 22-Jan 19) - You are conservative and are afraid of taking risks. You are basically spineless. There has never been a Capricorn of any importance. Become a monk.

Another Aquarius...

Your birthday numbers 1, 29 and 1967 reveal that your Life Path number is 8. It represents experience, authority and endeavor. You are gifted with natural leadership and the capacity to accumulate great wealth.

According to the ancient art of Chinese astrology (or Chinese zodiac), Horse is the mythical animal and Fire is the element of a person born on January 29, 1967.

Great wealth my ass.  :roar:

Now this might be close....

Aquarius

The Aquarius loves a party. Anytime, anywhere is their motto. It is not unlikely that an Aquarius will consider a wake a good place to meet chicks.

Aquarians tend to be nostalgic about the 1960s because that was the last time they could be naked in public and get away with it.

Aquarians love to be naked. It is even better if they are naked and crocked.

97.4% of the Night Train consumed in the past thirty years has been consumed by Aquarians.

Almost every Aquarian will claim to have seen Jerry Garcia's image in their Froot Loops at least once. Froot Loops is a very Aquarian cereal. So is Rice Krispies, since it will engage in a friendly chat with the Aquarian as he or she is eating breakfast. Count Chocula is off-limits, however. It belongs to the Scorpios.

Aquarians are the only people in the zodiac who can play volleyball with themselves. And they frequently do.

Aquarians use the phrase "Dude, man..." frequently when describing philosophical concepts.

Aquarians have out-of-body experiences on a daily basis. If you are talking to an Aquarian and he or she zones out, consider the conversation hopeless. He or she is talking to the guy three feet away from you.

Aquarians are fun because they channel people. Plus, if you tell them to, they will run around naked. Aquarians like astronomy because they've been to all those places. If you want to know what the food is like on Saturn, ask an Aquarius. They can also walk on water if they try really really hard. This usually happens in the bathtub.

Aquarians can allow themselves every possible vice on the planet, and don't think twice about it. That is why they piss everyone else off. They are cosmically entitled to do this. Most rock stars are Aquarians.

Now this might be close....
 had to look for mine too. Never really believed in astrology. Leos are supposed to be leaders, artistic, materialistic, sales-people types, so never thought it much of a fit. Still not a fit, but at least humorous.

Leo
You will grab attention in any way you possibly can. Self-immolation is not out of the question. Genghis Khan was a Leo, and so is Barney the Dinosaur. Leos USUALLY never marry because no one is good enough for them. Leos open doors by screaming at them. They expect their Clappers to applaud when they enter a room. Leos are said to resemble lions. However, “radical cult leader” is not out of the question. Leos like to start fights with Aries. They will stomp and bloody each other regardless of whether or not they are in public. In fact, the Leos usually prefer it. Aquarians hang posters of rock stars on their walls. Scorpios hang posters of famous disasters on their walls. Capricorns hang posters of great mathematicians on their walls. Pisceans hang posters of unicorns on their walls. Leos hang posters of themselves on their walls. - See more at: http://citymanthan.com/sarcastically-hilarious-zodiac-traits/#sthash.H0m4zOfR.dpuf

Oh Dear God....

Sagittarians are born adventurers. They like smashing spiders with their bare hands and trying to walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night with the lights out. They would sooner sustain crippling injury than do anything the easy way. Sagittarians love to entertain their friends, family, and total strangers. This often includes transvesticism. Nearly every Sagittarian was born into the wrong gender. Sagittarians are loud and have no social graces. They seek to offend. Sagittarians usually have nicknames like Thunderpooper or Vomitus Maximus. Animals and small children love Sagittarians. This is unfortunate since adults usually hate them. However, Sagittarians make excellent circus freaks and vagrants. Sagittarians use interpretive dance to describe philosophical concepts. Buttons and bumper stickers with rude sayings on them are a trademark of the Sagittarian. They throw food at expensive restaurants and ask lots of questions in the middle of church. Don't ever bring a Sagittarius home to meet your parents. He or she will tie up your mother and pants your dad. Famous Sagittarians include the Geo Metro. The holiday during which the sun is in Sagittarius is Thanksgiving. This is highly appropriate since everyone eats until they're sick and passes out while a bunch of cross-dressers and huge inflatable things wander through the streets of New York, the most Sagittarian town in the universe. The Shriners driving around in the tiny little cars are a very Sagittarian image. Even more so if there's a ridiculously busty woman stuffed into the car as well. A Sagittarius is always a better Madonna than Madonna. Men can pull off sequins, and women can pull off construction helmets. The Sagittarius is incapable of being unhip.

Lord, this is an old one. Should have guessed I'd have stuck an astrology post somewhere on this forum
It was a good thread though, some good responses.

Both of my brothers...had they made it into this world would have been Sagittarians. My parents were both Capricorns.

My MIL.

Virgo

You are a pain in the ass.

You regulate your breathing and color-coordinate the clothes in your closet. No Virgo in history has ever belched.

Virgos clean every square inch of everything they own twice daily with a toothbrush. Everything has its place, and yours is on the floor scrubbing with a magnifying glass, checking for germs. Obsessive-compulsive disorder? A nice euphemism for the word "Virgo".

Virgos use pointers and elaborate charts to describe philosophical concepts. You commit a lot of drive-by shootings. When you are questioned, you tell the police that it was because "the bastard had a filthy car". The police usually let you go because they are Virgos too.

It is easy to freak out a Virgo. Tell them they have something between their teeth. Then watch them scrub frantically at the imaginary thing. Virgos are a hell of a lot of fun for assholes like us.

Hell for a Virgo is being locked up in an elevator for eternity with a naked Aquarius. That is because in hell, Aquarians are allowed to bring beer, which they leave all over the floor. Virgos, however, have to surrender their brooms and squeegees to God.

Virgos also have a hard time coping when they find out there's something under the fridge. But it's usually just a depressed Taurus. Virgos have read enough Hints from Heloise to know that the depressed Taurus can be coaxed out from under the fridge with a banana wine cooler. Virgos don't see the world in shades of black and white. They see it in shades of clean and dirty.

Cat hair makes Virgos foam at the mouth. Virgos are cool because they will do your laundry for you. They'll separate everything by color and fabric until it consists of fourteen loads of three things apiece. Then they will put them in the washer in alphabetical order by name of manufacturer.

Virgos are often found opening and shutting the refrigerator door, attempting to trick the light inside. Don't put cheese where it doesn't belong in a Virgo's refrigerator. He or she will go Jack Torrence on your ass. You will be stabbed with a cuticle pusher. Jack Torrence was probably a Virgo in the first half of "The Shining". After that, he went all Leo.

The whole Aquarian running around naked doesn't fit with me. I like clothes.

My sister is a Virgo and she has always kept a very clean house.

I'm an Aries, but that personality profile doesn't fit me.  I would have been a Pisces,
but I overslept/procrastinated, and I was born a week late.  So much for that fiery Aries energy.

I would much rather have been my ascendant or my moon sign... Aquarius and Pisces respectively.
I just don't much relate to the descriptions of Taurus, beyond being stubborn and, I suppose, liking attractive, homely things.

Aries

Aries have ramlike eyebrows and smug expressions. They should not be quite so smug because they are constantly clunking themselves in the skull. Cat Stevens' "Hard Headed Woman" was probably an Aries.

Aries rarely say one thing and do another. They usually do the wrong thing and don't discuss it.

Never point this out to an Aries unless you want your kidneys pulled out through your sinuses.

Aries folks love Pisceans because Pisces people make them feel well-grounded. Aries love to laugh at the funny moon-people who suck their thumbs at age 35.

Aries use guns to describe philosophical concepts. Whether you live in a palatial estate or a cardboard tepee, you will insist until death that it is exactly what you always wanted. Most Aries were concrete parking bumpers in at least two of their past lives.

Aries are never born. They skip gaily from their mothers' wombs. This may even involve rollerblades. The Aries makes life decisions as a toddler.

Aries marry several times for funnies but never divorce. Their spouses have many freak accidents resulting in death or crippling injury.

Being infallible, God is probably an Aries. This would make Satan an Aquarius.

Aries always hold management positions. If one is assigned to clean toilets, he will form a one-man union. Then he will go and picket in the parking lot. All of you think you're Lech Walesa.

People run away when an Aries comes around. They know that if they do not, the Aries will set them on fire.

Aries hate listening to Scorpios talk because they take pride in being even more self-centered. In fact, much to the Scorpios' dismay, you are the biggest pricks in the zodiac. Your rams' horns are in everyone else's asses.

I'm wearing lots of silver cowbells.  :M

My mother is a Leo.  :hyke:

Quote
Pisces
Everywhere you go, laughter and comedy ensue. This would be great if you were trying to be funny. You are deeply confused by the idea of sex. As far as you are concerned, if it didn't happen in "The Velveteen Rabbit", it doesn't exist. Piscean women wear long floaty dresses and enormous amounts of unusual silver jewelry. On hikes. Pisceans claim to love the stars, but the only constellation they can find is the Big Dipper. If they cannot find it, they cry. You remember what you were wearing on March 3rd, 1981 but forget your own address. You have no sense of direction. The people you find going in reverse at 70 m.p.h. on the expressway are usually Pisceans. Pisceans are most likely to die by falling out of a window or getting run over by a truck. That is, of course, unless they live with a Cancer. Pisceans are so zoned and perpetually endangered that they can bring out the maternal instincts of a Leo. Don't be fooled, however; many Pisceans can surprise you by kicking your ass and the asses of your four imaginary friends. While Leos tend to achieve the most fame in the field of entertainment, Pisceans strive to achieve historical greatness by sheer fluke. They are proud to tell you that Michelangelo, Galileo, George Washington, and Albert Einstein, none of whom had an agent, were all Pisceans. What they won't tell you is that so is Ted Kennedy. Pisceans claim to want "honest criticism" of their work. Then they commit hara-kiri on the floor when you say you don't like it. Never try to use logic with a Pisces; he or she is living about three feet off of the natural ground or in Narnia. Their tools of debate are non-sequiturs, quotes from Elizabeth Barrett Browning, and, of course, crying. It wouldn't matter what linguistic devices Pisceans use to describe philosophical concepts because they aren't positive they know what they're talking about anyway. You cry over dead animals in the road but feel no remorse about mowing down humans you don't like. Cancerians say one thing and do another. Scorpios say one thing and do it just for spite. Pisceans say far too much and do whatever the hell they want.

Bet he can't remember what he was wearing on March 3 1981.

(Neither can I, btw.)
