I could have sworn I'd posted something like this before, but the search engine yields nothing.
So, once again ...
Here's my information.
Father's side: Austrian with a little Polish.
Mother's side: Irish, English, possibly some Native American.
I'm more Austrian than anything else. About 3/8 Austrian, 1/8 Polish,
2/8 (1/4) Irish, 1/8 English, 1/8 either "more-Irish" or "who knows?" :nerd!:

mother's mother's grandfather was swedish.
father's mother was likely mostly african - unknown.
that makes me a mutt.

Dads side, completely Scottish. No non Scots. Very ethnically pure :hitler:

I am thoroughly boringly germanic when it comes to my roots. There may be a bit of German in it, but even then from the Lower German language zone. So it is all the same.
From the side of my mother I stem from Groningen, and I inherited the hipdysplasia traits that come with that. My father came from Drenthe, and there may be some German right over the border influences there, but if there are, it is generations back.
I now live on the bottom of a former sea. From my father's side there were a lot of sailors. Many vessels wrecked here where I live. So living away from where I was born, I may still be walking on the crushed bones of my forefathers.

Have you ever thought about getting a DNA ethnicity test? I am. I've seen pictures of my
mother's father's mother and she definitely looks too dark to have been all Irish as they claimed. :apondering:

Surprisingly no. I'm blonde, and both parents kinda brunette.

Did some genealogy last century. From what I can remember, I'm 50% Irish, the rest is 50/50 French and German. My great grandmother came from Poland, but her family was resettled German. My father's side had someone do the genealogy back to the 1400's, but........ I can't access the computer file anymore, probably because it's in an old programming language.
Very strong rumours have it that I have a half-brother in either Germany or near Bastogne. Sleeping dogs should remain sleeping.

Ethnic wise I'm a mixture of every Caucasian Ethnicity that I discovered...
Which are:
Anglo-Saxon
Celtic
Germanic
and Slavic
The nationalities that deprive from that include the following: English, Scots-Irish, Swiss-German, and Ukrainian.

Half German, one quarter American Indian, one eighth Irish, one eighth Italian. The Indian came screaming to the surface so am usually assumed as Hispanic.

Native American on both side, card carrying the on my dads. English, Irish, African. My moms is Mexican with Spanish Native, Chinese, French,Arabian.

A lot of things that probably average out as a mix of Celtic, Germanic and Scandinavian.

My father's side of the family is 100% Irish Catholic I even know the general area some of them were from and when they left. My mother is half German a Quarter English and a mix of European countries not specified. On the German side I have a copy of the family tree going back to the 1700s

My Irish is from Roscommon, my French from Tournous. I have a drop of Welsh also.

Theres a tank at the V.F.W. clubhouse in town.... only I think that it's just a model, and not actually real. The ones at Cantigney Park in my state.... those are the real ones.

By use of the word "model" You are probably looking at a de-commissioned real thing. Much like the many fighter planes that also populate VFW halls as well.
Some are put together from salvage, but some are just real tanks and planes and cannons that have had their engines removed and their barrels filled with concrete in order to make the real things into static "models" so that the average person can have a chance to see what the real thing actually looked like.
They can never be made to work again, so they are just models, but most of those things were REAL at one point (if it is made out of wood, then yeah, that one IS just a mock up, but still quite impressive in what it represents), even the ones that were put together from salvaged, blown to shit parts from real ones.

I would think that the ballistic coefficient would suffer from all the fur ruffling while attempts to maintain a respectable terminal velocity would fail. Also the sectional density would not even approach optimal due to how much of a windbag you have proven to be.
