here is one.

i am trying to get more sent to my e-mail acct so that i can download them.

btw- he is not a crier, so far.  since he was so big they had to puncture him in the foot several times and take blood sugar tests, and they poked him at least once with a needle to give him an injection.  all he does is get pissed for a few seconds then acts like a little man about it.
what a stud

not a bad thing.  inasmuch as i mistrust everybody equally.
on the bright side, i tend to not hate anybody (give, ascan).  and do find positives in almost anybody.

seriously though, you remind me a bit of lucifer.  a much missed poster here.
Title: Re: Boston Robert
Post by: DirtDawg on January 03, 2007, 12:17:47 AM
you are begining to remind me of someone.

I have never put the poop of any animal that was not strictly herbivorous in my garden. The compounds in poop from carnivores would support anaerobic decomposition, which creates other compounds, toxic to most plants and some animals.

I've read that diapers are perfectly safe to include in the compost pile. Simply remove the plastic part, the silica gel granules will even benefit the plants the same way they keep Boston's skin dry. I'll let you try that first. Getting the plastic off sounds like a lot of touching.

OIC now ... you aren't talking about me and my lonely wet garden, after all.  Lucifer seems really cool, from her old posts. I hope she comes back.

Ah yes, I came across some of their posts when I was nosing around. Didn't realise they had stopped posting as their posts seem to be around a lot. I have a pretty chilidish sense of humour at times, maybe a rebellion against a mother who would tell me off every time I farted or did anything else that showed I was a (animal) human  :P

I did that.  I used only the wet diapers.  I soaked them in a bucket of water and then stripped out the outer and inner liners.

Boston is not a carnivore yet, though.  He still just drinks his meals, right McJagger?

I don't think Lucifer put people poop on her garden, though.  I think she used blood.

That's good.  My daughter had jaundice when she was a newborn so some of her first poops were green.  I called her doctor in the middle of the night because it was green, runny and projectile, but she said it was OK.

Oh yeah, I keep seeing adverts for those things all over the place. What the hell are they exactly? Some kind of little cup that sits where a tampon would? I still use towels anyway so doubt they would be any use to me. I wouldn't trust tampons due to the risk of TSS.

Here is the Mooncup's website and you can see pictures there if you like, Graelwyn:

http://www.mooncup.co.uk/

You put it in like a tampon, but it catches the fluid rather than absorbing it like a tampon.  I read on their website that the Mooncup is not associated with Toxic Shock Syndrome because it is not an absorbent product.  I normally prefer pads to tampons as well, except in certain circumstances like swimming because tampons make my menstrual cramps worse.

it's weird.

my wife and i were discussing just the other night how our nine year old will probably hit puberty soon.  my wife said that she is more bashful about herself when she is in the tub.

it seems like just a short time ago that she was our only baby.

I hate the way they lure you in with the coupon but then you wind up spending a small fortune on the pictures, but it was worth it because these pictures are so cute.
