Yes, that's how fast-paced and interesting this place is. We're celebrating some crappy movie that put us on the map 10 years ago. :wanker: :yawn:

How time flies. I screened that film at the film festival I sometimes work at. I think it was the European premiere or something.

It was almost litterally filmed in my backyard. I was working for Tilton Engineering in Buellton at the time they filmed the scenes at The Hitching Post, A.J. Spurs, Federico's and the Windmill Hotel. I saw the film crews at lunch time and didn't know what was going on. About a year later, I was living down in Orange County when i saw the trailer at a movie. I instantly recognized where just about every scene was shot.
They made one major mistake in the sequencing of their travel scenes. They show them driving up the coast past La Conchita (where you can see a small island with a bridge going to it) then the next scene is them going to Miles mother's house in Ventura. They would've had to back track 20 miles back south in order to do that. There were several other location mistakes like that as well.
