I am all for breast feeding; if I ever see a woman breastfeeding in public I will tell her "that's beautiful" to offset the negative remarks.

Never understood what's the big deal. It's weird. She's awesome; I love her echo.

I never understood the big deal either. I didn't realise people say negative things to breastfeeding women...and now that I think about it I have probably seen a woman breastfeeding in public only once.

You probably have seen it many times just not noticed that they were breast feeding most of the time it is pretty discrete, some are not, though at time it seems on purpose almost challenging people to say something. It never bothered me but I have known people that felt uncomfortable around it

Admittedly feel uncomfortable around it, but not enough to make them feel uncomfortable. It's an illogical emotional response.

doesnt bother me. i wouldnt tell them its beautiful though, incase they misunderstand and get freaked out lol

Women should be allowed to go topless in public if men are allowed to.

I never had people complain about breastfeeding in public.
Did get some remarks from a woman about how delighted she was that I did not mind feeding a kid during a church wedding service.
But as Parts said, breastfeeding most of the times is done pretty discrete. There is no need to flaunt tits in public, and, while breastfeeding, you do not want your boobs go cold either. You don't want to risk mastitis, that hurts like hell.

I did, and I didn't have to do it in public. I would have hated anyone making a comment - good or bad. I think I would have wanted to blend into the background as much as possible.

Always thought this was an American thing for some reason.

...... As long as you don't ask for the leftovers.
